been roleplaying for about 10+ years, on and off; mostly 1x1s on forum platforms.

posting speed & frequency can be kind of all over the place depending on my energy levels- i'm usually a "burst" replier (multiple responses in a single day), and typically try to get at least 1 or 2 responses in every week at minimum.

i'm away over most weekends (late friday through sunday).

i'm down for both short-term & long-term roleplays, as well as headcanon discussion!

i don't use Discord for roleplays or OOC chatting, sorry ^^" i mostly like to use Google Docs or TH Worlds for the meat of RPs, but i am also potentially willing to go to roleplay-specific sites! (like iwaku!) i prefer forum-style layouts above all lol

what i expect of you

• Patience. ♦ Roleplaying is a hobby for me. i can't be online all the time, nor will i always have the energy to always give same-day responses. And i don't expect you to, either! Life comes first, above all else
• No One-liners. ♦ i expect roughly intermediate or above level of writing; that being said, post length doesn't matter to me, but rather post quality. gimme good stuff to work with, and i'll do the same for you!
  • also, past or present tense, first or third person, narrative style doesn't matter to me; whatever works best for you!
• Pre-Planning & Worldbuilding. ♦ i lovelovelove in-depth planning! i can work with on-the-fly narratives, but i really enjoy heavy brainstorming and world/character-building. i Will write entire novels worth of character analysis stuff, if you let me-
  • That said, i don't really enjoy when the prep is one-sided. i'll quickly become disinterested if i'm the only one providing or pushing ideas. i'll match your energy, if you match mine! tell me a little about your favorite book or TV series, if you've read this far.
• Communication. ♦ Just messaging with a "Hey, wanna RP?" or just "i'm interested," is gonna probably result in being ignored, unless i know you really, really well- Please at least introduce yourself and let me know what topics or plots caught your eye! Also let me know if there's anything you want to avoid, such as triggers or general turn-offs. Communication & consent is always key.
• No coding necessary. ♦ While I enjoy spicing up my posts with coding, it's def not necessary for you to do the same unless you want to!

what to expect of me

• I have ADHD, so my time management can be pretty garbo- i may not have enough energy/spoons to respond every day, but i'll do my best to shoot you updates if something comes up. i'm also usually more than willing to try picking up old roleplays, if i'm still interested in the subject!
• Ghost Friendly ♦ i know how difficult it can be to maintain the energy to participate in this hobby :'D So don't ever feel bad if you have or want to drop or to step away, for any reason or amount of time, be it with or without notice. Also chill if you just forgot to respond LOL (My memory is beans, so i totally understand that ) i'll most likely give you a nudge after a week or two of radio silence, but i'll never be overly pushy.
• Romance/Shipping is optional. ♦ if it happens at all, i don't have a strong pairing type preference! i do enjoy shipping, but it's definitely not mandatory for every roleplay.
• I write in Third Person Close, Present Tense. ♦ i often slam out posts that are pretty beefy, around 10 or even 15+ paragraphs if i'm really in the zone, and around 5 or so when things are slow/chill, but i also tend to "mirror" my partner's post lengths (unless there's something specific i have in mind). Also, if you've read this far, tell me a little about your favorite animal(s)!
• Mildly fancy coding / posting tables. ♦ i like to spice up my threads and such, so my posts will probably be mildly decorative with headers, some coding, and the like! i try to keep everything readable though
• Masculine & Nonbinary characters. ♦ Most characters i play are some flavor of queer. A lot of them are transmasc, masculine-aligned/presenting, nonbinary, or gender neutral in some way. This is mostly due to vague dysphoria reasons, but i do like playing specific fem & fem-aligned/presenting characters! i'm just a little more picky in that regard.
  • i usually limit myself to 1 - 3 "primary-focus" characters, but i have no preference for how many characters my partner uses! So long as you can keep up with 'em, use as many or as few as you like~
