Leadership

They watch the two young 'fur-faces.' They had wandered past this feeding area several times, each time looking more concerned. The younger this round was being carried.

This time they stop. Leaning against a shrine the older set the younger down and sighed. There was a tenseness to it, like they were holding their breath. They didn't understand it. They would wander and look as these two did.

They younger being starts running and making this sound. A sound that loud would draw predators to them. Something about the sound made them slip out of hiding and scoop up the crying youth. Startled, it stopped. But the older stood. Grabbing part of the shrine and breaking it off. A spear like weapon was now what they held. A flag waved weakly in the oddly still air.

They look at the 'fur-face,' reaching over, they pull the sharp item away from the being.

  ...(no)

They held the smaller one, who had stopped making noises. Now just patting at their face. Waving a hand through the light mist, babbling now. Making noises that sounded pleasant.

They hold the makeshift weapon and used it to point a direction out to the 'fur-faces,'  the direction of where the rest of their kind where.

  ...(your home is that way)
