Character Lore (Canon)

Note: example written for an OC Main Character type. This would be a little too “main character/Firestar” for me for a group rp

Nightjump originally had no intention of joining the Shadowclan. When the kit was forgotten by his twoleg kit in their summer home, starvation led the kittypet outdoors, where he came across a healer utilizing the empty two legs garden for their herbs. The medicine cat took the kit back to camp, and vowed when his owners returned in green leaf he would be returned.

Named Nightkit, when he turned six moons, he was named Nightpaw, told he had to earn his keep until he returned to his two legs. When the two legs moved back in, they brought bully kittypets who threatened Nightpaws clan. He ends up asking to stay in the camp and protect the clan from the bullies.

Thanks to Nightpaws knowledge that the kittypets use the fences to their advantage, the clan used the higher ground in the trees to ambush them. Nightpaw then earned his warrior name Nightjump, and guarded the camp alone as a full warrior. Still, he’s haunted by his dead mentor, who had been one of the very few warriors to support the kittypet joining the clan. His mentor died in the battle he had helped organize, and Nightjump blames himself, knowing his mentor had lasting back leg pain from an old injury.

To make matters worse, his mentors son has taken a stance against kittypets, claiming Nightjump has the same bad blood the bullies did. What is Nightjump to do when his Starclan warrior mentor keeps his paws on the path to being a good warrior?
