Forestclan had seen ambition before in the eyes of Thornswipe. A battle hungry tomcat that the leader often looked to for advice, as their deputy was a shecat, with kits in the clan as warriors. He needed balance. Thornswipe was eager to provoke battle, hoping as the clan got bigger and bigger, they’d be able to overtake their neighbors. Until the deputy and leader bath told Thornswipe enough was enough, and the warrior attacked his leadership. He took two of the leaders lives along with the deputy’s, before the deputy’s kits took his life in revenge.

So when Kestrelpaw, Thornswipe apprentice Webswipe’s kit, began showing fierce interest in battling in the name of his leader, the clan was afraid. They kept Kestrelpaw an apprentice for too long, punishing him whenever he stepped outside of the warrior code. This would have made any power hungry bastard hiss with anger. Yet Kestrelpaw only found more admiration for the warrior code and his leader through his trials.

Finally, nearly six moons late, Kestrelpaw became Kestrelsong, and he was the most awake warrior after an all nighter protecting his clan. Kestrelsong loves his leader, his deputy, his clan. He lives and breaths the warrior code. With blind faith in Starclan, Kestrelsong is an amazing soldier who wants nothing more than to be in a position where he could lay his life on the line for the leader of Forestclan.
