Hot Brow Summer 01

Cecil grew up in a magical garden, where walking on clouds as silky and soft as the fluffiest pillows was normal, and the peace and quiet of the landscape was so tranquil you could practically hear the fish breathing in the sparkling ponds.

Sor Solir was no such place. Dair simply declared one day that he would take him to the beach, and before he could open his theoretical mouth, he promptly finds himself under the scorching sun and amidst the loud hustle and bustle of tourists.

He did not like it here.

The blazing sunlight makes him squint his eyes and try to shield his face, while also attempting cover his ears with his free hand.

"What is this place??"

"The beach, silly. Have you never left that temple before? C'mon." Dair stands upright, taking Cecil's hand off his eyes and forcing him to walk right along with him, his Muse's Treasure glinting in the light. The sand under Cecil's feet was irritating, it was so hot. He wasn't sure how he felt about the texture, either. Everything about this was foreign and strange. And yet, as a kitbull, he could feel the pure magical energy radiating from this place.

It was... odd. On a surface level, it seemed friendly enough. Bright, colorful and calm vibes, like unicorns and rainbows on a peaceful day. He didn't mind absorbing that, and the little birds that gathered around his hair and tail flapped around playfully. However... if he focused hard enough, he felt like there was a more sinister magic hidden under all the fluff... but before he could dwell too much on it, Dair promptly tackles him to the ground.

"Got you! Now you're gonna be buried. My trick worked."

"H--huh??"

"No escape." Dair smirks at him as his many arms work to pile sand on top of Cecil before he can react, and pretty soon he was just a head sticking out of pink sad, frowning and looking completely out of place.

"Okay, now stay there while I go get us grilled geck."

Cecil's crease in his brow only deepens. "Do I have a choice??" He says to no one, Dair long gone.
