These DAMNED Eggs! (Egg Painting Prompt)

The table was littered with various brightly colored paints with boiled eggs snuggled securely within their holders with a few missing, paint brushes with various colors staining the bristles. A few were even broken in half. But for what reason caused this? For brushes to be angrily snapped?

"'m startin' ta think ya wanted us ta fail, Rosco." The toony bot angrily spat, a smudged and half cracked egg in his clawed gloved hands. The Amicabot never had much patience when it came down to these delicates situations. As a matter of fact, none of them, Mayhem, Catastrophe, or Chaos, self-proclaimed Rowdy Toon Squad, never had the patience in general. It was a bit of a headache but Rosco wanted them to have fun when it came to painting eggs for the event! But that seemed to have caused some anger to rise from them from not 'getting it right away'. It was a bit of a shame.

"No, I never intend for you to fail, Chaos. I just wanted us to all paint these together." The aardwolf Terra said warmly, paintbrush in hand. His paint strokes were neat and precise, adding a bit too much more detail than what was needed for these. A brilliant display of oranges and yellows. "You have to be more patient when it comes to these. Allow the first paint layer to dry then paint on little markings."

"Patience mah ass, it ain't workin'." The rabbit-esc toony terra huffed out, they had a broken egg in their hand with paint smudges on their gloves and arms. How they ever managed to get some on their arms was a mystery to Rosco.

"These damned eggs ain't worth da time of day. Too fuckin' fragile ta begin with."

"Language, please." Rosco corrected the mismatched toony Terra, looking up at her. She was doing better than the rest, the only thing was the shakiness that was present in the design of her brightly-colored egg. "And besides, these are for Birdie. She enjoys these brightly colored things, even if they're a bit rough around the edges, she'll love them."

"Ugh, fine, fine. I'll keep paintin' these then." Catastrophe spoke up before setting his messily painted egg down with the rest of the finished ones. Two out of twenty-four down. Oh, this was going to be a long process.
