Pertaining to the goal of the clan, Nerida acts positively to outsiders or rogues who may wonder into their territory. Unless posing an immediate threat, the cats are taught to be welcoming, even pushed to open a dialogue with whom they may come across. Because they are so isolated from others, whenever they happen across another cat, it is often a feeling of concern that is arisen within the clan. The nurturing nature of Nerida urges the cats to make sure that whoever they come across is okay, even offering a place to stay if needed or food for the journey they may be on. Despite the amicable nature of the clan, they can flip at the drop of a hat and will not hesitate in order to protect their territory and those around them. The cats may have a welcoming nature, but after the first meeting, they give what they get.
