There's a distant shutter, a sound you can hardly hear. "What if you can become a better version of yourself? What would you do to get it?" If there was a world entirely of monsters, would you join it? would you go out of curiosity? Run, Hide, Grow maybe even fall in love, or would you rather live among people. Often simple and regular. What ever you pick is your decision. Just don't go to Sad Aisle.

Fun Fact: Queen Anoplophora's nickname used to be Ano, until my spanish friend notified me that, that means butt in spanish. So uh... Now I call her the butt queen...

Queen Anoplophora

Rain wiped her eyes, her vision was blurry due to the tears. Her heart ached and everything inside her told her to run, to hide. She knew there was nowhere she could go. Sharp steps came down the hall a click settled each time they did. It had also sounded like bells. The room started feeling smaller, she could hardly breathe.

it's Wednesday.         The large door creaked open. a tall lady, with dark skin and long hair, came in. Her face seemed to have a shine, and she had 4 rows of eyes, all dark brown. Long thin antenna's seemed spiked. On top her head, she wore a large crown and a large fluffy cape, the frills lined with bells, her feet pointed in heels.

She stopped in front of Rain and kneeled. she was huge in comparison. Each of her eyes blinked one at a time and her expression seemed sombre and empathetic.  "My name's Queen Anoplophora. But most in my kingdom call my Anoplo. I am not here to hurt you."

Rain pulled her face from her knees. She clenched her teeth. Fear of spiders... "I heard you enjoy drawing. I even found your sketchbook."         Anoplo pulled a small book and a chewed-up pencil from under her cape. and held it out to Rain. She pulled away and moved farther. "Very well. I'll put it here."         She set the book down on the cement quietly. Her voice sounded sweet like honey. And her eyes seemed to glow with a sad tone.

"...what do you want from me..."

Anoplo glared.  "All I want is your happiness."

"Then let me go!"

Anoplo shut her eyes.  "You are talented. You have a family that cares for you, I must not go through with your clearance."

Rain glared tear eyed and confused.

she pulled a syringe from her cape, it was filled with a dark thick liquid. She slowly grabbed rain's hand as Rain struggled.

"Stay still." She slipped the needle into her arm.

Everything became blurry. then quiet. then nothing at all.
