It was a lovely afternoon, and Sockie still had no idea how to spend it! It was very upsetting to him.

He cannot let this day go to waste, as it was just too good! Perhaps it would be another great day to hunt down more socks!?

It was already half-way over, too! He slept for so long, and now he must make up for it!

He got up, sprinting off into the day, trying to find something to do.

He already hunted for socks yesterday, so he could not do that again... Or, well... He could, but he thought that maybe he should do something else!

What he was going to do was the question now, but he would try finding something!

With that, the hunt for something to do had started. There was so much around here that there HAD to be something!

As Sockie was thinking of what to do, he was blind to everything around him.

The wind blew, making pollen fly everywhere, painting everything in yellow.

It was a sight to see, but Sockie was too blind to see! It did not help that they were a part of it.

The pollen covered paca stopped in his tracks, taking a few seconds to process everything.

...Then, he sneezed!

The pollen that had landed on Sockie flew off, making a pile next to him.

This gave Sockie an idea! He would make pollen drinks! Or, as he named it... "Popsi"!

It was one if not the only thing he could make...

Now, he had to get something to gather the pollen in! He could not just carry it with his paws...

He ran off, in search of anything to use.

Oh! A flower top from a lily of the valley would work! They almost looked like cups...

He ran off to find the said flower, crawling up to it and plucking one of the flowers off.

Jumping down from where he was, he skittered over to the pollen and scooped it up, filling it to the top.

He now needed water! And some honey... Maybe some dew...

Now Sockie looked around the area, searching for the needed items.

While dew and water were easy... How would he get the honey? It was not really the most common thing around here.

That would not stop him! He wanted his popsi! He wanted his lovely afternoon rest time!

Maybe he had leftover honey? That would be good!

He quickly made his way home, searching his nest for honey- climbing over his piles of socks.

He HAD to have honey, as he did not use it all yet... He did not make popsi in forever!

But, it seemed he did not have any... He used it all up last year.

He was not that surprised, as this was the best season for it.

Gently placing the cup down, he then hurried out, now having a quest to find honey.

The last time he found some was...

He thought for a moment, trying to remember.

Was it in the spooky woods? That would make sense...

He promised himself he would never go back there! He nearly lost his sock once...

But... he needed the honey, he could not make popsi without it! How else would he make popsi?!

He thought that maybe he could find a replacement, anything to make it so he didn't have to go to the woods.

Shopping *would* have worked... But that was quite far away, and... Sockie did not have the leaflets for it at the time.

Thankfully, while he was out, he was able to get the morning dew, but... still no honey.

At this point, he had given up for the hunt for it.

So instead of popsi, he would make something else!

But... the question is what he would make.

Some pie? No... He would rather not have pie today. That would be for tomorrow.

So... That left cookies! Pollen cookies!

He quickly ran home once more, now getting everything he needed out.

Bowl, mixer... Everything he needed! Even some batter!

It was time for popsi cookies...

He put the pollen into the bowl along with the dew.

He then stirred, mixing the pollen into the water.

Then, he added the dough into the bowl, mixing it once again.

He stirred for quite a bit before placing the door on the counter.

He now needed to cut them into circles...

He was never good at that, as he has always gotten a friend to do it for him.

He would try his best, however, and hopefully not get his socks dirty in the process...

Thinking about it, he thought he should change them! His current sockies were already pretty dirty.

He pounced off to his room, quickly changing into another pair of socks.

Then, he happily went back to the kitchen.

He rolled the dough into a ball, then... threw it onto the counter, with a splat sound accompanying it.

That got the shape he wanted!

He did this a few times over, then laid them on a metal plate.

He then put them into the oven, setting the timer to a random time.

Sockie was very excited! Cookies were a great snack! He sat down on the floor, watching the oven count down.

Tick tock, tick tock...

It seemed to take forever as Sockie laid down, loafing onto the ground.

After what felt like hours, the timer beeped, and it was time to take them out!

Jumping up, he quickly opened the oven and took the cookies out, tearing up a bit at how hot it was- even with the socks.

He dropped the plate onto the counter.

Now he had to mold the cookies, one of Sockie's favorite parts.

He gently patted the cookies, smacking them down to circles.

Once finished, he put them back in the oven.

Clllliiick...

Bing! Done again!

He pulled the plate out and picked up all of the cookies, running to his pile of socks.

While he never got his popsi, he did get his popsi cookies...

Nomming on the cookies, he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Despite the hectic behaviour he had, to Sockie the day was peaceful.

Curling up around his cookies, he fully fell asleep to dream about cookie socks.
