Do they validate each other's feelings or is one more emotionally shut off than the other?

Prompt R 27 - Nahia and Bora

Nahia and Bora's relationship is... reasonably pleasant, but also a reasonably professional, distant one, given their respective positions within the realm of the gods. Bora is a kind mentor, and is understanding of Nahia's emotions, wishes, and experiences. She's just a child, after all, and one who's already in an awkward position, given her lineage (not that she's aware of it) and her lack of powers; being cold to her would hardly do any of them any good. But the same can't quite be said in return, for just the same reasons - What position is Bora in, to weigh a cub like her down with his troubles? No, better to smile through it and do his best to guide her, in spite of everything. If she wishes to hear him out about his troubles when she's older, should the day come when her powers awaken and she's on even footing with him, she can. But now is hardly the time for that. Nahia deserves a childhood as much as any other, despite the objections Bora's fellow gods may have about it at times, and even if it may not be a normal one, he, at least, will not be the one to stand in the way of that.
