How does this character cope with sadness?

Prompt I 26 - Bora

Bora's sorrow stems from sources that are... hard for others to comprehend, really. It's not a sadness that can be easily resolved, and not one that can be easily understood and related to - His negative feelings stem from things that are surely worthy of sympathy and compassion, but not ones that can be easily empathized with. And that's rather isolating, knowing that your struggles and the pain resulting from them cannot realistically be solved, if a solution exists at all, and knowing that few if any others exist who can understand your situation and troubles.
So, how does Bora cope with this sadness? Mostly, well, he does just that - Isolating. He shoves his problems and negative emotions deep within, to where they cannot be seen, and isolates himself when they cannot be held down, until the eruption passes and they again lie dormant beneath the surface. It's not the healthiest coping mechanism, but what can he really do? Even when he first learned the truth, when he tried to seek answers, he was met with coldness and questioned himself, as though his own had no reason to be asked at all - And he accepted it, because even as it awoke his role as a god, who was he to argue? He was so new to this, and that was simply life... or, rather, death.
He was still in no position to complain. He had lived. Even if the others were gone, even if he was alone, he had survived. He should be grateful. And if he couldn't genuinely feel that way, he could at least pretend, or at least keep quiet. Easier, better to do that, than to weigh everyone else down with problems that, even if they could comprehend it logically, they couldn't possibly relate to or solve.
