What is this character's views on change?
Prompt I 29 - Bora
Change is an inevitability. As long as the universe exists, nothing will be exactly the same as it was in the moment before, even on a molecular level. The planets spin, stars blink and flare and glow and sputter out, eons before their light reaches the edges of existence. Time passes, plants grow, beings are born and age and die. That is the nature of existence. Nothing lasts forever, not even gods. He knows, for they told him this themselves.
...It doesn't change the fact that change can hurt, though. It can hurt like claws being raked across one's face, jaws clamping down on one's neck. It can hurt like the world is ending, and you are alone to witness it, for everyone you ever knew and loved has long since passed on, in both a cruel irony, for they were taken so soon, and yet also a sort of lucky break, for they, at least, would never have to experience such suffering firsthand.
Change is inevitable. Bora knows this.
But he also knows that that knowledge doesn't dull its aches.
