The Daichines
Even though Laetus is quite peaceful, there are some foreigners who arrive there with bad intentions, or even the residents of Laetus themselves, who may be malicious deep down. To improve the protection of villages, shrines and forests, guardians are spread throughout Laetus. And these guardians are called Daichin.
Daichines are never together in groups, they're quite isolated, you'll usually find one or two on patrol. When there are several together in groups, it means that there is something very dangerous going on in Laetus.
It's extremely easy to identify a Daichin, apart from the specific clothing, a Daichin is always a canine youkai: a kitsune, a wolf or a dog.No one knows why they are always canine youkai, but rumor has it that canine youkai are extremely strong compared to other types of youkai and even other species of Laetus, including the florus.
In addition, there is a tale that centuries ago Laetus fell into crisis after an invasion by unknown beings. Some say that the gods were unable to deal with the invasion, others say that they weren't present at the time, which is why there were so many deaths. But regardless of where the gods were, legend has it that a kitsune was able to defend all the people of Laetus, and managed to seal away the unknown beings who never returned.
The kitsune was a delicate and gentle kitsune, and it was extremely unexpected to see her defending the entire continent; no one imagined that this kitsune was skilled in fighting. In gratitude, Aladus and Celestia presented the kitsune with an important position for the kingdom: a Daichin of royalty and Laetus.
Currently, a kitsune called Miki is the general and leader of the Daichines. There are also rumors that Miki is the same kitsune from the tale, but nothing confirmed. We don't even know if the legend is true, the only thing we do know is that the Daichines have been in Laetus forever.
Os Daichines
Mesmo Laetus sendo bastante pacífico, existe alguns estrangeiros que chegam por lá com más intenções, ou até mesmo os próprios habitantes de Laetus, no fundo, podem ser maldosos. Para melhorar a proteção das vilas, santuários e florestas, guardiões são espalhados por Laetus. E esses guardiões são chamados de Daichin.
Os Daichines nunca ficam juntos em grupo, são bem avulsos, geralmente você encontra um ou dois por aí, patrulhando. Quando tem vários juntos em grupos, isso significa que tem algo bem perigoso acontecendo por Laetus.
É extremamente fácil identificar um Daichin, além das vestimentas específicas, um Daichin sempre é um youkai canino: uma kitsune, um lobo, ou um cachorro. Ninguém sabe o motivo deles serem sempre youkais caninos, mas boatos dizem que os youkais caninos são extremamente fortes comparado a outros tipos de youkais e até mesmo de outras espécies de Laetus, incluindo os florus.
Além disso, existe uma lenda em que diz que, séculos atrás, Laetus entrou em crise depois de uma invasão de seres desconhecidos. Alguns dizem que os deuses nãos conseguiram lidar com a invasão, outros dizem que eles não estavam presentes no momento, e por isso ocorreu muitas mortes. Mas independente de onde os deuses estavam, na lenda diz que uma kitsune conseguiu defender todo o povo de Laetus, e conseguiu selar os seres desconhecidos que nunca mais voltaram.
A kitsune era uma kitsune delicada e gentil, e que foi extremamente inesperado ver ela defendendo todo o continente, ninguém imaginava que aquela kitsune era habilidosa em luta. Como agradecimento, Aladus e Celestia presentearam a kitsune com um cargo importante para o reino: uma Daichin da realeza e de Laetus.
Atualmente, uma kitsune chamada Miki é a general e líder dos Daichines. Também existem boatos da Miki ser a mesma kitsune da lenda, mas nada confirmado. Nem mesmo se sabe se a lenda é verídica, a única coisa que sabemos é que os Daichines estão em Laetus desde sempre.
