Design Ownership

  1. Rights of Ownership
    1. Ownership is transferred upon receipt of full payment and the design becomes irrevocable.
    2. All designs are for non-commercial purposes only.
    3. You are free to redesign, use in species, use in ARPGs, use as sonas, etc. Go wild!
    4. You do not have to credit me on every post of the design. I only require credit if someone inquires about the designer or if the design is posted to a character repository like Toyhou.se.
  2. Reselling, Trading & Gifting
    1. Designs can be resold up to the amount they were paid for, even if they were traded or gifted. If it was purchased for $20 and traded, it is still worth $20 and can be sold for that amount.
    2. Additional art is not considered part of the design and will not add to the value, due to their being no agreement between I and the artist. You are free to resell any art separate from the design but I heavily encourage you to check with the original artist before doing so.

  1. I only accept payment in USD. All USD payments will be taken via paypal invoice. Please do not send payment until I specify.

    2. If I issue a cancellation:
      • I may give you a discount and complete it, if you like the piece.
      • You may receive what work I have done for free.
      • If you've paid, then I will issue a refund up to 75%.
    3. If you cancel before payment, I will request ~50% of the original payment to be paid (you'll recieve the sketch). Refusal will result in a public blacklisting.

Section V

Contact and Communication

  1. Your commission will always be uploaded and updated here. I will always try to be transparent about updates and my current workload so you don't have to wait to hear from me!
  2. Always feel free to ask for an update after the initial 72 hours. (This is not permission to spam my inbox, however.)
Section VI

Workflow and Process

  1. Works in Progress (WIPS). Nearly all commissions will have a sketch approval stage. I will upload WIP screenshots (if applicable) of all commission types onto my airtable commission tracker, the WIP screenshots generally being of the sketch stages, the approved draft, and whatever stage I end on before moving to another piece.
  2. Revisions and edits. Any major changes or revisions must be made before I begin fully rendering the piece, this includes any significant changes to a character’s pose or body shape, or redrawing parts of the image.
    1. After the sketch has been approved, no major edits or changes will be made. If the commissioner requests additional edits after the approved sketch, a price for the edits may be discussed.
    2. If I make any errors in the character design, accessories, or any other visual elements specified in the provided visual references, I will make these edits at no additional cost.
  3. Final post. I will always ask you for final edits on the finished piece before I publish. However, I will post if you don't get back to me after the first and second note.
  4. If you do not want me to post your commission online, there is an option in my inquiry form to request a private piece. This comes with an additional fee.

If these terms are broken, you will be privately blacklisted from
commissioning or purchasing designs from me.
