Hi, it has been awhile!

In that long period of silence, I had no chance or energy to work on Megethos setting, any future events, or species itself. It has been a rough time for everybody, and many things changed. I no longer have the energy or time to dedicate to active and involved development and management of this species. I still love this setting and species with all my heart, and I cannot leave it to slowly die into obscurity, and it would be unfair to have people abandon this project or void the characters they grew to love.

Therefore, from now on, Megethos;s ARPG is on hiatus until further notice. Meaning, no events, no batch sales, no other in-group activity. Until I have time and space and energy to work on this, I cannot push anyone else to fill in that work for me. It doesnt feel fair to anyone involved.

Future plans include limited MYO, customs, or adopt sales, but very few and far between. Again, with how little time and energy I have for even personal things nowadays, I cannot justify managing this at full scale.

With that out of the way, lets talk about usage rules. They were pretty limiting, born out of my fear of people misusing my creations or disrespecting my boundaries. Unfortunately, a lot of "bootleg" designs have appeared that closely resemble Syntei, but I have no platform or reach to track down every single one and demand changes, plus it really just destroys me emotionally and mentally. I understand now that a lot of it comes from the overall nature of CS being a very "exclusive club" feel, and people feel bad for not being able to participate when the point of entry is real money for MYOs or waiting for events that never come. Even then, I believe most people were just inspired and didn't intend to do anything malicious, and Syntei are not a very unique design to begin with.

So, some rule changes were introduced, and can be viewed in the Rules section. Syntei and Carnex are now free to use outside of their setting, with their lore being mostly disregarded or used sparingly, up to your discretion. Also, you're free to make up NPCs for your characters to interact with. Everything is outlined in the rules regarding them. I want people to enjoy these characters, and I cannot personally control every single one and check if the rules are being abided by. Therefore all I ask in return is some courtesy and kindness.

This TH world should now be not available for joining (or will be once I figure it out lol), and so is the Discord server. I do recommend remaining a member for either for any future updates, sales, and etc.
