Glowcats are an open species created and founded by Torion. Anyone can make one as long as they follow the design guidelines.

Glowcats are cats that noclipped into the backrooms and gained special abilities. They can have any power, regardless of rarity. Similar to facelings, there are multiple types, each with varying levels of hostility. The only way to tell them apart is to look at what color their glow is. This entity's behavior seems to change quite often.

Despite most types having an assigned behavior depending on other wanderers' experiences with them, there have been reports of a glowcat acting the opposite of their assigned behavior type. For example, A warm-colored glowcat acting friendly, or a cool-colored glowcat acting hostile, etc.
