Design Related

Are bridles removable or togglable?

No, bridles cannot be removed or toggled. They are permanent fixtures on their heads.

What traits are togglable?

Only corrupt cheruby can have togglable traits. Members can always ask if they are unsure.
  • Halo
  • Wings
  • Eye Shapes, Eye Amount
  • Glow, Elemental, Visual Effects
  • Etc.

What ears can cherubies have?

Cherubies usually have one set of animal ears.
Impure cherubies are limited to dog ears.
Corrupt cherubies are allowed non-dog ears.
Human and any human-like ears like elf ears are not allowed.
Marine and aquatic ears are not allowed.

Are the ear patterns required? What if my design has unusual ears?

Yes, all cheruby are required to have their ID pattern most commonly placed inside their ears.
Cheruby with unusual ears must have the ID pattern present as a permanent ear tag or symbol on their body specified to be their ID. The ear tags do not need to be a specific shape so long as it resembles a tag or earring of sorts that can display their ID pattern.

Can cherubies have legs besides hooves or other kinds of limbs?

No, cheruby must have hooved legs. Human, pawed, avian, reptilian, or any other kind of legs are not allowed.
Cheruby must also have human arms, pawed hands are not allowed.
Corrupt cheruby can exhibit elements alluding to other animals.

What leg accessories are allowed?

Cheruby can wear any kind of clothing and accessories on their legs.
The clothing and accessories must be removable. Permanent accessories/clothing are not allowed. The exception are examples already found in body modification such as embedded piercings, these must be clearly labeled as body modifications.
The patterns/clothing cannot resemble corrupt traits ex. elemental, glass, feathered etc.

Corrupt cheruby are allowed to have permanent accessories and clothing under the classification of "other material" legs.

What prosthetics are allowed?

All cherubies are allowed to have any prosthetics found in modern prostheses with the caveat that the majority of their body cannot be mechanical.
Prosthetic Specifications:
  • Legs must have a hoof shape, no other shape is allowed.
  • Limbs must show articulated joints.
  • Cosmetic prostheses must be labeled as such and cannot have special features.
  • Impures cannot resemble corrupt traits or have special features: glowing, weaponry, filling, etc.
  • Rare traits can be applied to prostheses within reason and will be approved under staff discretion.
  • Cannot be multipurpose mechanical parts that are integrated into their biology.
Prosthetic ears and tails are not allowed. All cheruby have a set of ears and a tail upon creation.
  • This does not include the use of hearing aids.

Can halos have accessories?

Yes, halos can be adorn with accessories.
The accessory cannot resemble corrupt traits ex. eyes, glowing, disguise the halo as another object etc.

Are fake halo accessories allowed?

Yes, however to prevent confusion, fake halos are required to show visible stitching or hints that it is crafted.
It is recommended to label it as an accessory or have a separate view of the accessory clarifying its construction ex. a headband with the halo attached.

Can cherubies have alternate palettes?

All Cherubies are allowed to have alternate hair colors/styles and clothing is not subject to color limitations. If the change surpasses 30% of the design, a redesign submission will be required.

Corrupt Cheruby are able to toggle between up to 3 alternate palettes, all variations must be submitted to the masterlist for clarity and ease of tracking.

Can cherubies have AU's or alternate versions?

Yes, cheruby can have different AU's where they are not cherubies ex. human au, kemonomimi au, other species au, etc.
Cherubies can come from pre-existing designs.
Multiple cheruby forms are not allowed.

What are vintage impures?

Vintage impures are impure cherubies made during the initial launch of the species before the change in ownership.
During the change, the criteria for MYO traits were updated. So as to not cause confusion, approved impure designs before the updates are labeled as "vintage" and the designs following the new regulations are simply "impure".

How do I transfer ownership of a cheruby?

All masterlist entries have a comment with the transfer form.
Please follow as instructed and have the other party confirm the transfer.

All transfers are required to go through the masterlist transfer form to be approved with the appropriate information.
Any unlisted transfer would incur a strike.

What if the other party doesn't have a TH account?

If the a party of a transfer does not have a toyhouse account to approve of the transfer, please have them contact the species staff through an agreed platform for confirmation.
The cheruby's TH profile can be transferred to the CherubyList account for safe keeping until another transfer is made if desired, or the profile can be deleted.

Any future transfers still requires a transfer form, please inform the species staff of any future transfer so the masterlist can stay up to date.

How do I update the masterlist image?

All image updates require a Edit for Approval Form.
If you are just updating the artwork, list the change summary as such.
If you are using any items or redesigning the cheruby, please follow the form accordingly and wait for approval.

How do I update my username on the masterlist entry?

To update your username after a username change, please send a message to CherubyList or send a request through the discord server helpdesk with the following information:
  • Old username
  • New username
  • Links to all owned MYOs that need to be updated
Commerce Related

What are chrysents?

Chrysents is the species currency members can earn from participating in species activities. Members can exchange them for trait items and MYO slots in the Item Shop.

How do I earn chrysents?

Members can earn chrysents through species events, most notably species prompts.
Please view the Prompt Guide for more information.

Can chysent or shop items be traded?

Chrysent are user-bound and cannot be traded.
Items from the shop can be traded but not resold.

What are value appraisals and how are cherubies appraised?

Value appraisals are a process for members to add and verify their cheruby's monetary value for resale purposes. Both paid assets and personal works are eligible for appraisals.
To appraise an asset, please view the species T.O.S for more information.

Can cherubies be used commercially?

No, Cheruby does not allow commercial use of cheruby designs, meaning members are not allowed to make profit from cheruby characters.
This includes but not limited to:
  • physical merchandise ex.stickers, badges, keychains etc.
  • digital merchandise ex. NFT, crypto
  • commercial media ex. games, comics, films, animations, streaming
Members are allowed to use an alternate version of cherubies design such as a human AU or other species AU, but the cheruby version cannot be used for profit.

How do I update my username on the inventory?

To update your username after a username change, please send a message to CherubyList or send a request through the discord server helpdesk with the following information:
