Why am I bringing back my OOOLD mascot? kicks, mostly. It's getting out of hand though.

Spider AU (AltSMP):

From a den located in the frosty and snowy mountains. Harsh conditions have pushed them to desperate measures and an intense devotion to the red mood; their god.

Most spiders never get to see the sky, let alone their red moon. These things are considered to be a gift upon only the most devout or those closest to the queen. Hadria took the path of becoming a priestess from a young age, and to prove her unwavering dedication and devotion she partook in an old custom. Removing her spider legs, the very things that made her what she was and offering them up to their god, she was deemed to be devout enough to be allowed to see the moon in all it's glory.

As time went on things become more dire as their sole trade partners came around less and less. Pushed to extremes they began sending spiders out at random to try and trade some of the mountain's rich ore abundance in exchange for food. Because the arachnids are loathed by the outside, very few return back home after trying to reach the other dens. Hadria was one such arachnid who drew the short straw and had to be sent out. Funny enough, her lack of spider legs and her fewer than average eyes have made it all the easier to blend in with other species. She's been going around in secret to trade, and has begun to foster the hope that they can co-exist with the other races someday if they can co-exist with her. Her naive ideals leave her blind to a lot of the danger she faces in her situation, and she's quick to trust others and tries to avoid violence whenever possible.

Since leaving her den she's fallen in love with the sky and more notably, the sun. She spends as much time outside as possible and away from her current mountain residence she's built away from people. Though she's loathe to return to a life in the darkness, only with the occasional glimpse of the moon, she feels she must return home after collecting as many resources as she can as her duty to her people.
