Brande Aveline

Brande is a Dark Knight Captain, sent to monitor Ed's lowly squadron during the war.  He is immediately disliked by most of the squad for his harsh ways.

Appearance

Brande has undercut hair, with a long top.  His hair is naturally black.  He has slightly tanned skin, and usually sports a well trimmed goatee.  His eyes are bright green and his eyebrows thick.  He is usually seen in his Dark Knight armour, which is black with silver highlights.  His red gem is set in the centre of his chest armour.  For public appearances, a black cape is sometimes worn with this to indicate his rank.

Personality

Brande is a dedicated, loyal soldier, and easily climbed to the rank of Dark Knight.  He is stoic and firm, never doubting his stance on anything and requiring strong convincing otherwise, often coming off as extremely stubborn.  He is direct and will not sugar coat anything, no matter how painful it may be for the other party.  He gets satisfaction from getting things organised and is an excellent strategic master - often the first to be maintaining order in unfamiliar situations.

He comes off as very judgemental and often worries too much about his public persona, lest it reflect on his career.  He often finds it hard to relax, working hours into the night.  Beneath of all this however, is a loving man who will do anything for his family and does genuinely care for the plight of the people during the war.
