Peggy only lived with his mother and himself for most of his life. The town was very close-nit and loved their family, especially rambunctious little Peggy. But when his mother fell ill and they both knew nothing would be able to save her, she asked of him to make a promise: to be happy.
Peggy wasn't sure what would make him happy, except for fulfilling his mother's wish, but how was he supposed to do that? Singing...he liked singing. And dancing. He could be a performer! Surely, he would be happy doing that since it was a small hobby he loved so much. He used what money his mother left him in her passing and took a train to Capital City.
However, he had no idea how to become a performer, or where to start. Through extensive research, he found some auditions with no luck in obtaining any of them. At least, not until some weeks into his adventure. He found a strange and extremely vague advertisement hidden away somewhere, but it seemed legit enough, and he was getting desperate. He met with those behind the ad, and that's when everything starting going downhill. Fast. It was a criminal gang he had stepped into, and they used Peggy as bait while trying to steal a highly dangerous and powerful magic only held by the Queen. In the end, they got away while he became their scapegoat...the one who got caught and held accountable.
Frantic and afraid, he made a run for it, but not before the Queen cursed him with the very magic he nearly stole. She left him with a threat that evening.
"Even if my guards can never catch you, the consequences of your actions will."
Slowly, he realized his body was disappearing. He was fading out of existence day by day, and he had no idea how to break this curse, or if he even could... He started to become apathetic, ignoring his impending death. He was going to live his life and fulfill his promise to his mother and find happiness. But deep down, he was still scared, and he still cared about what was happening. But he pushed it aside, put on a stage-worthy smile, and set off to do what he knew how to do best. He's still winging everything day by day, but time is running out. His only hope is a mirror who might have the solution he never expected to find.

A stranger turned friend, who asked Peggy to help them achieve their dreams. But as the two continued to meet, they grew closer...and now Peggy can't shake these feelings that have grown in his heart for them. He doesn't want to hurt them when he disappears, so he's planning to keep everything to himself. But of course, that's not going to go very well.
The one family member in his life that he was close to and loved dearly, and now she's gone. He still celebrates her birthday every year by having a picnic and talking to her at her gravesite. He's living to keep his promise to her to become happy.
He respects the Queen and her ruling, but he fears her power. Especially since she cursed him and has cut his lifespan so short. He tries to do everything in his power to avoid her at all costs.
