Ayel takes care of an abandoned shrine in the middle of a forest. She enjoys the feeling of being surrounded by nature, away from the bustling cities. But she isn't completely alone. She is friends with Aine, the forest's spirit (it's almost like a mother, daughter relationship). She met Marshal after he misread a sign and went down the wrong path, towards the shrine. At first Ayel strongly disliked Marshal for his cocky, arrogant attitude. He kept going back to the shrine pretending he accidentally lost his way and started opening up to Ayel more and showed his true colours. When Ayel saw more of his true personality she also opened up to him more and they fell in love.
