Elsbeth Amorette Rose Van Leeuwen may seem like a sweet angel, but is actually a demon in disguise. If you aren't someone she considers a friend you are equivalent to a dirty peasant and will not be spared a second glance unless she is looking down on you in disgust. To those she considers close to her she will be nicer and maybe even cute, sweet, and funny...maybe. Elsbeth has fantasies about living in a large mansion with a harem of hot vampire men; however, this is just a fantasy, because as long as she has her older brother Lazarus Eppillus Azazel Van Leeuwen she is happy. Elsbeth has been known to be sadistic. She enjoys the suffering of other, as long as it's those that she doesn't care about. For that reason she carries around a heart shaped horse whip; however, she mostly uses it to point at things rather than hit people. While other wights are known for feeding off sexual interaction, Elsbeth is content with hugs and cuddles as she, despite her appearance, has never had that sort of relationship or those types of interactions with anyone. Elsbeth is actually rather innocent in contrast to her appearance which would suggest her private actions to be anything but. Elsbeth does, however, enjoy making suggestive comments as jokes, although they are rather tamed compared so things others may say. When others make suggestive comments towards Elsbeth she easily becomes flustered as she has never had a relationship with anyone. For that same reason, it is likely that if someone was to make an advance towards Elsbeth she would become flustered and extremely nervous.

❤Elsbeth likes to hum, sing, and whistle when she is alone or in the shower.

❤Elsbeth is afraid of the dark and someone once told her that spiders crawl into your mouth when you sleep so she chooses to sleep completely under the covers. Although she knows this is unlikely she still does it out of habit.

❤Elsbeth will sometimes sit and look at pictures of cute baby animals in her free time.

❤Elsbeth will chew on her lip when she is nervous.

❤Elsbeth refuses to let people know too many things about her in case they try to use these things against her.

❤Elsbeth can be kind of a nerd when she is alone at home. She cannot let people find this out about her...if they knew...they would surely make fun of her...

How Elsbeth met and befriended CC is unknown considering Elsbeth's tendency to look down on others; however, it is believed that Elsbeth has longed for a genuine friend for a long time.  Elsbeth was first attracted to CC as she was one of the only other girls in a sea of kowaiko men.  After observing CC for a while and talking the two eventually became extremely close.  It was rather surprising that Elsbeth treated CC as an equal rather than a dirty peasant.  After becoming extremely close the two would share fun times by visiting each other's houses and having sleep overs.  During these times Elsbeth would reveal to CC her true personality and also introduce CC to the wide world of anime and manga, consequently turning CC into a giant nerd just like her.  On certain occasions Elsbeth would also teach CC about boys and romance, even though shes never been in an actual relationship herself.  All in all, Elsbeth really enjoys CC's company and consideres her to be one of the greatest (and first) friend that shes ever had!
