Kenji, called "The Runt" by Khema, is the youngest of the pack of winged canines serving Castiel. He's still new to handling out missions and he has very little combat experience. A bit of a coward, Kenji freezes up in battles and isn't confident in his abilites. Kenji has a bad habit of comparing himself to others and always feeling inadequate; he views himself as useless and weak. His low self-esteem and natural anxiety tires him out from time to time. Kenji is also quite the crybaby; it's rare to see him go without a month without crying. He's very sensitve and takes any insult or compliment to heart. To make it even harder, Khema tends to snap at him whenever he makes a mistake, which scares Kenji and thus makes him make more mistakes and the cycle goes on until Runelle snaps at Khema.

Kenji is very apprehensive towards his tempermental cavian pack member and feels that he has to prove himself to his elder packmates. He views Runelle as a role model and looks up to her. A compliment from his leader is enough to make his whole day brighter. He loves Annelle like a mother and tends to stick to her, especially since they're both wolphids. He explains his anxieties to her a lot. Kenji tries to avoid Khema in anyway possible.

Kenji feels a bit like an outsider of the pack since the other three have known each other for over a century. He is more of a healer in the pack.
