ABOUT
Speaks like those with head trauma, or a deaf person who cannot hear themselves, with lots of stuttering, gaspy words and odd pronunciation, thus finds speaking difficult and avoids it almost completely unless comfortable with the person he's talking to. Would get better with practice, but he doesn't practice.
A mostly adrogynous human face, with elegant forepaws and dainty hind hooves, with a small, thin canine tail hanging at his rear. Two varying shades of dark grey, almost black, upon his body with black and golden hair. Pale grey eyes set in a peachy skinned face between two long, tufted ears.
Long feathers growing from his shoulders to make a cape. Spiny small antlers adorning his head. All bones within his body are a dark grey, almost black colour (including teeth), but most cartilage is golden.
Capable of a physical fear/trauma/adrenaline response I've called inking where he just turns black through rapid pigmentation. It can happen very quickly and take a few hours to fade afterwards, and starts in the middle of his face, quickly engulfing it before flooding the fur patches.

STORY
Originally born from a one night stand between Sammael and the Shrike stag, the under prepared 'teen mom' Sam decided to hide his pregnancy, and infants, from the rest of the family in a new den and even went as far to dispatch two of the litter leaving just Deimos and his sister Beleth. Emotionally and physically scarred by the event, and from Sam's absolute mental snap before and afterwards, was quickly taken and adopted by his grandmother Lilu.
Knows all of this as its never really been a secret, and despite Sammael now being (essentially) mentally stable the two have never repaired or attempted to have much of any bond, leaving Deimos rather alone in the world. Found a habit in reading to his uncle Valak and probably one of the few who doesn't find the other creepy in any way. Now works at his grandmother's circus as an entertainer, practising archery and being essentially a clown.
TRIVIA
A massive empathic, tho he also often doesn't show it outright small feelings eat him up when he relates to someone else.
Somewhere between hermaphroditic and intersex, functionally completely infertile.
