Personality;
Phoebus is mute due to an injury he sustained when he was younger. It healed, but incorrectly, and while he can technically still talk, its painful and borderline impossible to do so save for small sentences and quiet murmurs. The scar is still there, though covered up by his neckfur. Hes reluctant to speak about what caused the injury mostly due to embarrassment. He's absolutely fluent in sign language but still relies on mostly body language to get his point across.
His outward personality is pretty laid back for the most part, and he interacts well with other woolies (it helps he runs a business that makes it so he HAS to be good with others). His kindheartedness and compassion leads him to easily befriend others while having a naturally observant nature that helps for learning others comfort zones so he knows what their boundaries are. He loves, adores, and positively LIVES for simple affection, like hand holding and muzzle bumps, and if youre on a comfortable level relationship wise, will absolutely bombared you with chaste but still full of love affectionate gestures.
The one who truly recieves the most love and care he can give is his little brother. Ever since their parents died, its just been the two of them, and Phoes relied on his brother to remind him why he keeps working so hard and pushing through the days. While Phoe supports them bother financially, they heavily rely on each other emotionally, and Phoe never lets a day go by without reminding Oni how much he loves him. He'd do just about anything for Oni and supports him to the best of his abilities.
History;
Born and raised in Fenmorre, Phoe grew up there with his loving parents. While he didnt have many big aspirations in life besides making his parents proud, he'd always had a dream of roaming off and training himself to do big things. He had planned on doing training and research in forgery, and when he was old enough, he got his parents approval and bid them goodbye.
Unfortunately, tradegy stuck. Phoes mother had been ill after the birth of her second son and Phoes little brother, Oni. But the severity of her illness was hidden with smiles and reassurance, making it so not even her husband knew the true extent of what ailed her. He tried getting her to rest and take care of herself as much as possible, but his concerns along with Phoes were brushed off. After bringing in a new life, there was nothing that would stop her from cherishing and enjoying the time with her family to the fullest. She was fierce and strong, and Phoes biggest role model.
Only 7 years after Oni was born, and only 1 year after Phoe had left, did her illness finally consume her. The day she died, it rained. The air was fresh and the smell of baked goods from their bakery/home was still fresh in the air. She'd died in her sleep, peaceful. When Phoe found out, he immediately returned home to grieve with his father and comfort his brother. After three months his father insisted he continue with his own quest, but Phoe was resolute in his decision to stay and help take care of the home along side his father.
Phoe could tell the death of his mother was a big toll on his father. Phoe thought that together they could heal and grieve together. But love is real weird. Phoes father passed only two years later, and while he was a little up in age, he wasnt nearly old enough to pass. The town rumored he died of heart ache. And Phoe, well, he kinda figured they were right.
It took a bit for Phoe to get over it, and he still really hasnt. But the reminder that he has a little brother that needs him even more now is what still keeps him going and puts a smile on his face everyday. He misses his parents dearly, they both do, but he reckons theyll always be with them.
3 years later, still running the bakery with the help of his little brother, he's thinking that hes finally got the hang of everything.
