Nasir

Nasir is fairly new Genie, having only completed just over 1,500 wishes. One day, long after the death of his last master, his pocket mirror is found in the middle of the desert by a little girl, Illyria. He grumpily addresses his summoner before realizing that he's speaking to a small girl, orphaned in the desert.

And from that day on, the sarcastic tuq takes care of the small child, granting many wishes all while being the best dad he can be. Of course their relationship of psuedo-genie and master conflicts greatly with adoptive father and loving daughter. And thus hilarity ensues.

Example:

"I wish for icecream." "Before dinner...?" "Of course!" "Your wish is my command *eyeroll*" And Nasir summons a small bowl of sugarfree icecream.
