Bio

Akemi was once just a regular stuffed animal found abandoned on the back of a shelf in an old thrift store, when one day a young witch girl took her home to perform a common but powerful ritual: familiar building. The witch gave up half her essence, putting her heart and soul into bringing Akemi into a fully realized form. Akemi grew to be best friends with the witch, always smiling and proving herself to be quite intelligent with new incantations the two were learning.

However, one day years later after the witch had grown to become a powerful fire elemental, the witch who had been continuously growing colder decided Akemi was no longer needed in her quest for power. Before Akemi could be hurt by the one she once called her friend, she fled in the night and has been on her own ever since. She doesn't know how to do much and is often seen as abnormal for being a familiar without a witch. Although some have hunted her for her fire powers, a rare skill for a familiar to have considering fire is a dangerous enemy to them (after all, even when in a human-form, they can still revert to being stuffed animals when they need rest, which are...not the most resilient to fire). After some dark points in her life, Akemi has found a small light in a new friend, Mako who is a shark familiar, and together, she's determined to find a way to break free from her connection to the old witch who cast her aside.

Anxious, depressed, and not easy to put trust an others, Akemi hides her true self behind a hard outer shell. But when she shines, she truly does. She's cheery, intelligent, and inspiring, the kind to dance around the room and sweep you off your feet. Perhaps Mako will be able to bring about this side of her more..... (spoiler yes and they're girlfriends)
