Pri is incredibly dedicated and hard-working, always putting as much effort as possible into her work – even if that means neglecting other things such as eating, sleeping and socializing.

She is very tenacious and dislikes leaving tasks unfinished; if you ask her to do something, you will not be disappointed. She is very reliable and takes no request lightly.

Unfortunately, due to years of travelling with no friends and very little interaction in general, Pri has very limited social skills and takes a while to warm up to people. She does love talking to people, and being around friends, but often comes across as cold or awkward at first because she has little to say and prefers to listen; however, once she knows someone very well, she is very enthusiastic and excitable.

Pri is an altruist and will do whatever she can to make people happy, even when it means missing out on something herself. She has a strong sense of justice and always wants to do what’s right.

BACKSTORY ⋆

Pri was born on the planet of Aniob as Eom Prrium with two parents and two siblings. From as far back as she can remember, Prrium was always interested in science and space; specifically, the field of space travel. Growing up, she was always the go-to person for any facts about space or spaceships; she was often referred to as “resident science expert” by people in her neighbourhood.

As a young adult, Prrium was accepted into Aniob’s most prestigious school for science and technology. All went well, until her graduation day, where she went up to the stage to accept her degree (and Most Hard-Working award) from the king of Aniob himself, Tawa, and accidentally dripped ink from a leaky pen onto his beautiful long cloak. Naturally, he was upset and, next thing you know, Prrium was fleeing her home planet of Aniob, charged with treason.

With Aniob’s police still on the lookout for Prrium, she decided to go by the alias of ‘Pri’, her childhood nickname, and travel the universe. As she had left in a hurry, she brought very little and mainly survived by doing small jobs for people in exchange for money or food – ranging from advertising pizzas to assisting heists.

Fast forward several years, Pri is now, somehow, co-pilot of junker ship, Fleetwood Mac, owned by the one and only Baby.

TRIVIA ⋆

• She is short for her species! The average Pyoby is around 213cm (7 feet) tall.
• Due to her home planet’s environment being dark, she has extremely good night vision! Unfortunately, this does mean she gets easily dazzled by bright white light, and sometimes has to wear sunglasses in bright environments.
• She enjoys neon colours because they remind her of the bioluminescent features of her home planet.
• Pyoby language is very vowel-intensive and consists of a lot of prolonged beeping sounds! Since there isn’t a lot of variation they often rely on facial expressions to convey meaning as well.
• Pyoby develop very quickly in their early years – taking about 34 years to become fully-grown – however, once fully grown, their development is very slow and they live for a long time.
• Since her hands are so big, and she doesn’t have proper fingers, she finds holding small things very difficult. Fine motor skills in general are difficult for her.
• Due to being used to being mostly in water, she can sometimes be clumsy on land. Generally, though, this is simply endearing, and not much of an issue.
• Her full name, Eom Prrium, is pronounced “yom pree um”.
