Ylvex is a grouchy botanist and develops medicinal drugs for Linada to use. He is laid back, snarky, foul-tempered, and soft hearted. He's often seen alongside Menyx, whom he usually keeps an eye on and helps raise. He cares for them like family.
Ylvex's parents were very strict, creating him as a replacement for his sister, who passed away a year before he was made. Living in her shadow drives Ylvex to reject his family and everything about them, and even parts of himself that remind him of the image his parents forced upon him for so long. He considers Neonik and Themyx as his aunts, and better family than the one he was born into.
