Prudent Valor

- He is extremely sadistic, strict and controlling. He makes it known that he is more powerful and important than everyone else, and he likes being feared. He is very selfishly opinionated and refuses to bend or break under any circumstance. He prides himself in being fearless and self-important. He is a very violent and rather manipulative man who will stop at nothing to get his way, even if it means sabotaging and killing to do so.

- He has been charged for multiple crimes in his lifetime. The list are as follows, in no particular order: petty theft (8 counts), drug trafficking (2 counts), fraud (12 counts), money laundering (2 counts), physical abuse (6 counts), attempted murder (3 counts), voluntary manslaughter (1 count), first-degree murder (1 count).

He suffered physical abuse until he ran away from home and was found by an elderly couple, later put into foster care for three years. He was adopted by his stepdad and raised decently until an incident at school that led to a violent mental breakdown. His then budding criminal record soon grew explosively into a long list of petty crimes early on in his childhood. As he aged, he studied and improved himself to become a caniving, fear-inducing individual who could con anyone out of anything they had and be seen as the ultimate threat even without unicorn magic. He especially became fond of putting unicorns in their places- below his hooves- to show them that even an earth pony could be powerful and respected.

He eventually lured Brush Stroke into his life and married her under the false pretenses that he was a clean, friendly pony who just looked scary. As soon as the marriage certificate was signed, he took that as Brush's way of signing her life away to him. He abused her verbally, mentally, and emotionally until it grew into physical abuse that only worsened by his drinking habits and severe anger issues. He cheated on her many different times, though he always seemed to ditch the other mares when they came to him about being pregnant- if they dared to, anyway.

When Brush Stroke became pregnant, Prudent reacted violently like he did with everything else. He beat her as he usually did, but he stayed away from her belly. He often left the house to leave Brush alone to care for herself, which she was partly thankful for. Months later, she gave birth to their son, Flurry Valor. They both seemed happy at first. For the first time since they met, Brush noticed that Prudent had changed around Flurry as a baby. He smiled more, he laughed, he seemed relaxed and carefree just like he was before the marriage. Unfortunately, when Flurry turned four, he too was subjected to the same treatment of abuse that seemed to be even worse than it was before Flurry's birth. For many years, the two suffered. They protected each other as best they could. Several years later, Brush left Prudent, subsequently leaving Flurry there with him to face alone. She didn't want to, but she had no means of caring for him on her own. She felt horrible, but somehow she knew Flurry wouldn't hate her for it- didn't hate her.

One rainy day, Prudent found himself face to face with his ex-wife. She'd come to visit, mostly to see Flurry after so long. But the reunion was bittersweet. He behaved like a gentleman, but only until Flurry left the room for a brief moment. He lost his temper seemingly out of nowhere, lashing out at Brush and screaming obscenities at her. He wanted to kill her. He was sick of her. But lo and behold, his son intervened, and took the brunt of his vicious attacks. After that, Brush escaped and never returned.

A few months following the incident, he was having yet another really bad day and took it out on his son as per usual. He beat him to a pulp, though Flurry was now fighting back lately, so he had a bit of fun being challenged and fighting to dominate and exert his power over the other. It rapidly reached the point it did with Brush. Kill him. He needs to die. Get rid of him.

During their last fight, things got so bad that many things in the house were broken. He was out for blood. He caught Flurry multiple times, trying desperately to end his life. He thought he had him at one point, standing on top of him with one hoof pressed tightly down on the stallion's neck, watching the fear dance in Flurry's eyes, watching the light in them start to dim. Despite having fractured his horn earlier, Flurry managed to use magic to strike Prudent in the back of the head with a blunt object. He blacked out and woke later to Blau Schiefer and her father, Deputy Civic Duty, standing over him and getting him shackled and chained up. On the way out, he looked at Blau, who had been glaring daggers at him the entire time, obviously trying to hold her tongue so she didn't go ballistic on him for what he'd done to Flurry. He knew Flurry had told her, likely having escaped to her place for help.

He sneered at the young mare cop as he was guided outside by several police officers. This wasn't over. He'd get his revenge, one day.

Now he sits in a small prison cell, isolated from other inmates. He is unaware that Blau and her father are trying desperately to move his life sentence to death row.
