Summary
The Heathers' Flower Shop is widely-known as one of the most bountiful and stunning in town - so much so that other florists rarely take up shop, as the competition is too high. Little do the villagers know, however, that the blooming beauties the Heathers' line of florists have produced are not because of any particular skill - but rather, the work of their only daughter, Amelia.
Since her youth, plants and flowers of all kinds seem to vicariously gravitate towards her. At first, her parents thought it was sheer luck, but later on it turned to be something more than that. Amelia has special abilities - one that accidentally have lit part of the shop on fire on more than one occasion - but her greatest strength is in controlling nature to her will and nurturing the flora her family line has tended to for generations. It's for this reason her parents have tolerated her magic - at first believing it to be a strange sort of witchcraft - but then realizing that a little part of it can be a bountiful gift.
But something will always push Amelia to venture out of the confines of the home she's known for so long, a curiosity stronger than herself. Are there others like her - others like her and her closest friend, Lilith? Is there a way to control the little accidents, the purple energy that radiates from her palm? The villagers she sees everyday think that she's got everything figured out, but that's hardly the truth of the matter. More than anything, Amelia wants to discover herself.

Lilith
An old childhood friend from the town Lilith was born and raised, Amelia remains the only friend Lilith keeps in contact with from her previous life. Both shunned from most members of their hometown because of their unusual and cryptic abilities, the two became fast friends once they realized they weren't the only ones with powers others would rather forget. With Amelia able to sustain life, and Lilith dealing with the effects of the afterlife, the two find a common camaraderie in trying to help others - at least, those who are willing to let them in.
