Florence lives in an unknown place at the beginning of the story. Her hideout is built into a mountain and heavily guarded as their surroundings is very hostile and deadly. Monsters roam basically every inch of the surface and below, making it almost impossible to survive. Yet there's still quite a lot of adventurers that arrive onto this continent to explore and find glory.

The hideout is a safehaven for those who dare to try and survive in this place. Under Florence work a handful of people, ranging from other adventurers over to guards, maids and historians.

Appearing rather unapproachable, Florence is the Leader of this place who everyone respects. Among them a maid who she found while out in the wild who was all alone, naked and was unable to speak any known language. She named the person Edea and let her stay, having her staff raise her as a maid.
