A man who is willing to do anything to achieve his goals that is the one phrase that describes Gil best… He is a man who is willing to throw away his conscience if it becomes a hindrance to him, even erase it if he must, as he believes if he is able to distance his heart and separate it from his mind, he wouldn’t feel any guilt in his actions. However it is due to past experiences that he decides to act this way, as he finds that being attached to things that obstruct his way will lead him to his downfall. He is someone who will manipulate others to fulfill his objectives and desires. But he has a strong emotional need in justification for his actions. And though he thinks he can do well without others and get rid of them if they no longer serve a purpose, the elf needs others’ affirmation such as respect, gratitude, and love to justify his actions and keep going.

You can say he’s good with words.  Gil is an intelligent man who could probably bluff his way through things and persuade others with half-hearted, suggestive promises. And apparently he is prideful in that regard that he is able to get what he wants by moving people’s hearts with words.

Many consider him a womanizer as his impulsive and promiscuous nature to get rid of his boredness is quite extreme, for he is someone who needs to fill the empty hole in his life by using women. And it seems that various women fall for his manipulative charms and surrender under his dominance. Regardless of the surface of his personality where he seems not very interested in wanting a long lasting relationship with many of them, Gil is searching for a specific type of partner in his life more like the perfect one, having extremely high standards in life as the man believes he deserves the best and not anything less than that.

History

Gil was born in the lands outside of Alfheimr’s capital, Valhala, as he was a child that was born out of wedlock, in almost impoverished state. His idiot father,who fell in love with a woman who never loved him, willingly sheltered their love child, Gil, despite his father’s financial inability to take care of his own self and yet his own child for that matter.  Gil’s mother abandoned Gil and his father to marry another man, a rich wealthy noble, discarding her wretched past with his father and him in exchange for the life of luxury and comfort.  Gil always thought his father to be pathetic as to how his father still clung onto his love and kept wasting his life away waiting for her to one day return. But why would she return when she was living happily with two new kids of her own with her rich wealthy husband?  

Gil never wanted to live such a life like his father did.  So he decided to become a knight, finding a higher-ranking knight to mentor him becoming his squire, and after apprenticing him, join the ranks of the knighthood, wanting to be free of this so-called poor life he was brought up in that lead to a dead-end.  However the elf was not interested in joining the ranks of the knighthood for noble reasons, and instead sought out the prestige that being a knight had to offer, as he wanted to be likeable and admired by others and appear trustworthy and reliable, so he could one day muster an army for himself and own some territory for his own sake, to make a perfect life for himself.

However just like his father, he ended falling in a similar pitfall. While he was a young foot-soldier, he fell in love with a young woman, but only to find that she was using him and never loved him or affirmed her love for him; he was just another romantic partner to her, and she had several partners… He soon got rid of his thoughts on finding true love and affirmed that he there was no actual thing of such love that could reciprocate such strong feelings, and only through this experience found that people were useful if they did according to your plans and desires, and love was similar in that regard. He soon followed suit, and rather than keeping long lasting relationships with women; he had various one night stands with various women, as many of them were just used to fill up the boring part of his life.. He found himself losing trust in others in general and only found others worthy if they were able to serve his purpose or interest.

After experiencing some war first hand, his services of being a foot soldier were no longer required during the times of peace. He decided to live elsewhere on his own with the gold that he had earned from his work and began working as a guard for Alfheimr, stationed near Valhala, the nation’s capital, wanting to stay near the center of power and riches.

Trivia

However despite his womanizing nature, he is specifically looking for a submissive and willing partner, and is willing to go through great lengths to obtain such a partner even using underhanded tactics if he must.
He currently is preoccupied with his little bird, Savha (AnisseCandy 's OC). Taking care of his little canary in his own house even.

Sword (main) Khrysaor
A large brute golden sword with a winged dragon insignia engraved on it.. It seems the red ruby jewels are imbued with both lightning and fire.

A shield that is golden like his sword Khysaor, with a red jewel attached to it with a dragonic emblem

created by Savha, a sword made of flames of ignited by her blood, resembling a phoenix

Skills

Shield Bash: Using his shield he can defend and attack foes, dealing normal physical damage.

Dragon Slash: A melee attack that deals damage to any targets in close quarter range and increases chances of critical hits.

Enhancement Aura: An aura of radiant light surrounds the user and can boost all stats by 200% while being surrounded by this aura. This skill can last up to 2 hours based on his MP, or until MP is depleted.

Compelling Order: This manipulation skill allows the user to cause listeners, either friend or foe, to follow orders by dictating highly persuasive, vocal commands, temporarily bringing up morale if the listener are subdued and under the user’s influence.

Special skill

Dragon Wrath’s Fury: Using a magical imbued sword (or any magical weapon), Gil can use manipulate a sword of electrical blaze of flames that can overwhelm and inflict damage on the user. If the enemy is attacked, he/she would be electrocuted and burned as the flames are too hot to touch, and may die from fatal voltage or severe injuries. Gil cannot use this skill without a magically imbued item, as he cannot create or manifest magic, only manipulate it. He also cannot use both elements if the magical item is not imbued with both fire and lightning attributes, and can be limited to using either or in certain occasions.
