Lorana Arevar, Captain of the Treskallian Region Paws & Claws Mercenary Company, is a severe woman, with a spine of iron and a keen eye for talent and character. As well as heading the central division of the P&C company, Arevar is also the head of its recruitment branch, and often makes trips outside the city and to the various different regions in order to scout likely additions to their roster, constantly looking to expand their available talent.
A large number of rumors surround the stern-looking she-wolf, ranging from her temperament having stemmed from outlaws killing her family, to simply that she was always like that, raised by a single father with several older brothers and thus simply picked up the mannerisms expected of a man simply due to their surroundings. She herself prefers to avoid such conversations, though she makes no overt attempt to stop them unless the ones having them are being exceptionally bold about their claims.
Those who have seen her in action report that she's a master with a blade, as at home on the battlefield, if not more, than when in her office handling politicians and paperwork. Truly, she's held up as a shining example of all that a mercenary should be.
