Aeolon

Species
Wers are always born withtwo forms. A human like form and an animal form. They are able to shapeshift between the two. Also, they are able to gain access to more forms by consuming other living beings. To do so, a Wer transforms into a third form, that is basically just a shadow, that covers the whole body of the creature they want to consume. After that process the wer'd get the ability to transform into that creatures body while still having his own mind. Some of them (including Aeolon) don't transform into the shadow form, instead they eat their victims alive.

The process of shadow consumption only works on weak creatures, that are still alive. Stronger creatures would simply reject the consumption. Though if they get beaten up before, they are usually weak enough. If they still reject it, the Wer has to look for another weak creature or else he can't transform back, which is one reason why many try to eat their victims in their animal form. Then again, from a realistic point of view, in a case like this it's always easy to find some kind of weak insect for example.

Wers also have pretty good physical abilities. They are strong and fast. Usually even better in their animal form.They can't reach the Elves, but they are able to fight. Because, that is what they were created for: Fighting, getting stronger by getting more and more forms and to serve the Elves. They are supposed to fight against other gods along with the Elves giving them orders.
Elves have an ability called Authority, that allowes them to give orders to every creature weaker then them. The only exception are fellow Elves and Wers. While they are unable to control members of their own species, a Wer is unable to reject the orders of an Elf. The only exception comes in when two orders are contradicting each other. For example if an Elf orders the wer only to follow their orders and another one gives them an order, the Wer has the freedom to decide which order to follow. That's how a Wer who formed a bound with an Elf becomes free – more or less.



Story
As all Wers and Elves, Aeolon was created by the god Sombra. But since Sombra was unable to make his creations alive he teamed up with the godess Leara, who was in love with him and helped him because of it. She gave his creatures life, until she couldn't take it anymore, that he would only use them for fighting. She did it out of love but she couldn't do it anymore and disappeared. Aeolon was the last one she created. And his personality was greatly affected by Learas unstable state of mind, which is, why he became that 'evil' being.
Aeolon was just a usual Wer for the first few years of his life, running around, following orders of Elves here and there. But he was bored. He wanted to be free so that he could follow his own path. To archieve that goal he made a plan. As a first step he was looking for an Elf to form a bound with. And that Elf was Chou. A really strong Elf, that had a good position in the world. And since Aeolon was a pretty strong Wer too, she was happy to form a bound with him. But that was only the first step of Aeolons plan. He would've been fine, if Chou would be up for risky and 'evil' actions, so Aeolon could have fun there. But no, all that she had going for her was her strength. She was way too serious and always just worried about her Sister Sana. Thus he had to continue with his plan to become completely free.
Step two was, to consume an Elf, because Elves aren't affected by 'Authroity' of other Elves. So if he'd do it, he would probably not be affected anymore as well. At least that was the idea he had.The Elf he choose to consume was Sana, Chou's sister. Would be better suited than her? By consuming Sana, he would be able to mess up Chou's boringlife. Which would be a pretty fun game for him. (And yes, I'm aware, he's not a nice guy)He did talk to Sana a few times, so he tried shadow consumption on her one time. She was weak, but she rejected him, because it was unnatural for a Wer to consume an Elf. He expected that, so he had a little animal with him, that he could consume instead. Then he explained that it wouldn't work because she's an Elf. He explained that this was only a demonstration and Sana believed it, after all he's a really good actor. That left one option. To eat her alive. But even though his animal form hada decent size, it wasn't big enough to consume a Elf. He needed a bigger form. So he hunted down a pretty big creature and shadowconsumed it. With that form he could eat up Sana.
He also had Chou's order, not to follow anyone else's orders, so in case Sana would try to stop him, he wouldn't have to follow her orders. Aeolon had an easy time consuming her. They met at a place where Chou wouldn't see them, Sana trusted him completely and he simply ate her. That process went down so fast, that Sana didn't even realize what happened to her.
The first thing that Aeolon noticed was, that Sana's personality was still alive inside of him. Probably, because she was an Elf. Also, it became even more dominant when he'd transform into her form. Not even close to his dominance – after all, Sana isn't really the strongest Elf, but still, it wasn't dead. Aeolon found that pretty interesting, so he decided to change to her form and give her control. She didn't realize that she died. She didn't realize, that she was now part of Aeolon's body. To her it seemed like, Aeolon simply disappeared. When she was asleep Aeolon would transform back and meet up with Chou, realizing he really wasn't affected by Authority anymore.
He decided before he'd destroy Chou's life he'd live as Sana for a few months, just to see how it would go on. After all, that seemed really interesting. He could manipulate her carefully, to make Chou's life more difficult.
After he pretended to be Sana for a while, an incident occured. Kuraya (Sombras world) was attackedby two other gods, Loki and Llyr. Aeolon planned on going back to his old plan to destroy Chou's life a while ago but now that seemed way more interesting. Zen, another Elf, his Wer Aralynn, Chou and Sana (that means… Aeolon), were watching how Sombra fought the two gods. Loki as well as Sombra did receive quite a few wounds, Llyr was preparing an attack. The Elves were totally overwhelmed by the situation, that fight was on another level. When Sombra as well as Loki became weaker, they noticed a change in Sombras expression. Then he said to them: „Try to go with Loki, this dimension won't exist anymore soon!“ Then Llyr was ready with his attack, he disappeared along with Sombra. The Elves were left with this order. And they couldn't imagine how they were supposed to go with an enemy like Loki. Until Chou had the idea to use Authority on him, to control him. That worked, because he was weak and because there wasn't justone, there were three elves to give him orders. That way they managed to gaincontrol over Loki. And then they left the Dimension with him,before Universe destroyed it.
They got information from him, that it wasn't nessessary for Loki and Llyr to go there but they somehow had to rescue Sombra, since it is unclear what would happen if a god would die. Still, the dimension had to be destroyed since it would've been way too dangerous to keep it. But now that he was controlled by the Elves Loki started doing exactly the same thing as Sombra did. They went to his world, Aldonah, where he started building an army to fight other gods. All, because of the Elves Authority, controlling Loki. They wanted to continue Sombras will, they thought, it was important. Since he was the god who created them. Nobody knew that it was actually Leara. Nobody knew that Sombra was controlled by a Parasite all along, Nobody knew, that this last order wasn't to control Loki, but for them to rescue themselves and finally live a good life.
Well, One thing's for sure. Aeolon was really happy with the situation. He had a lot of fun being able to control a god. And since Lokis first goal was to fight Llyr (obviously, because they Elves wanted to fight Llyr and gave Loki that order), they actually had a goal, that was more specific than 'to fight the other gods, once we're strong enough He had something to look forward to.
