Lozen

L O Z E N

Lozen is a natural leader who is very loyal and always knows what to do to lead his pack, though can come off too serious as he doesn't talk much.

Lozen is by nature a lone soldier. With his serious personality, he is taciturn and usually communicates with others through body language, only speaking when necessary. He takes great pleasure in the gift that is nature, therefore often prefers mother nature over companions.
With his solitude, however, he has and continues to learn more about the world, and himself as a mediocre existence within the expansive beauty of the universe. He has very strong morals and views; having developed a very unique perception of the value of living things in his journeys, which when voiced (on the rare occasions) to others, quickly gains their respect and awe. Many therefore see him as a wise and loyal leader who they respect and strive to learn from.

Akule and Aiyana met Lozen not too long after they had separated from their original pack. Facing the world by themselves had more challenges then they had initially thought. It wasn't as easy as just overcoming every beast they encountered, but about gathering food, warm shelther, and every other task that the adults usually dealt with and they took for granted.

On that day, both Akule and Aiyana were drastically weakened after wandering too long in a land with a shortage of food. When they thought things couldn't get much worse, they were attacked by a swarm of vultures whose beaks all seemed too strong and eager than they had ever remembered encountering before. The sense of danger that the two usually thrilled on had all but disappeared now that the chances of escaping seemed absolutely bleak.
But suddenly the agonizing pecking stopped, followed by the sound of protective growling. Looking up from their crouched positions, they saw an impressive brown male wolf standing defensively in front of them as it fought off the predators. In that moment, he seemed nothing short of wonderfully noble and fearless.
"Stand up. Learn what it is like to really fight with your life on the line." The male wolf said, breaking their brief moment of mesmerisation.
"Quickly, if you will, I don't very much like fighting..." They noticed this came from another darker coated male standing not too far off. He was a large wolf, and he fought the birds off all too easily, but it was clear by his expression and tone that he wasn't all too fond of the situation he was in.
"Come on Rei, you have to admit this is fun every now and then! Don't you think so Lozen?" This time the voice came from a white female wolf, who was basically prancing in the wind with the birds. The brown wolf did not respond. "Hey kids, you doing okay? I'm Kauri!" She introduced herself, as she looked back over to Akule and Aiyana.

Ever since that day, the three have naturally become a pack - or a family would be more accurate, as they do care too much about rank and strength. That said however, it is the unanimous opinion that Lozen is the leader with his immense wisdom to love and protect the rest of them. Not to mention his stern personality that keeps them as in check with just a side eye glance (or glare?).
