Clairice was born into a noble family in the kingdom of Fairedale. Her family has been very wealthy for a long as she can remember. Right after her twin sisters were born when she was 9, a war broke out in the kingdom. Her father, older sister, and older brother all volunteered to fight for the kingdom, but her sister was turned down for being a female. Of course, her sister was stubborn and hard headed, so she fought anyways. Unfortunately, all 3 of them died, as well as her younger brother who was 7 at the time, when he snuck out to play. His mother told him not to, but he didn't listen, and unfortunately, he was found by an enemy and shot. After their deaths in the war, Clairice's mother lost it. She felt everyone was out to assassinate them, and became a shut in. She's held everyone inside their large estate, not allowing anyone to go outside. She gets the trusted maids and hired hands to do all the errands and run into town for anything they need or the kids want. Clairice was been thankful for getting everything she wanted handed to her, but she couldn't stand being locked away from the world anymore. She needed to go out in the world. She craved to go on adventures like her father once did. On the night of her 16th birthday, while her family and the hired help were celebrating, she took her opportunity with their distraction and slipped out of the estate with nothing but her clothes, the bracelet her father gave her, and a small pouch of gold. She left a note for her mother apologizing fo course, but she never did return home. She's been traversing through neighboring kingdoms and forests ever since.
