About

The 'precious flower,' only daughter of feared yakuza leader Urufu, long legged, sharp eyed, elegant Junko makes for an intimidating lady. Usually seen with a bored yet watchful gaze on her face, she took her alias, "Uru," from her father, Urufu. Most people shy away from her and cower in fear. After all, getting on the bad side of such a powerful figure would be the last thing on the average person's wishlist. But the truth is? Junko is a total softie.

Generous and comforting, Junko is an absolute delight to be around- if only anyone would get close enough to her to find out. Willing to do almost anything to please the people she cares about, she's a bit of a romantic, dreaming of the day she finds someone who sees past her exterior and gets to know her for who she really is. The entirity of the Nakahara-ken dotes on her, and she considers them all her family, often running not-so-savoury tasks on her father's request or the gang's behalf. A bit of a jack of all trades, Junko has skills ranging from lock-picking all the way to money laundering. She doesn't see these things as 'bad,' just as doing favours from her family- which means she will have no issue with hurting someone or their feelings if they've done something she considers not-nice. Loyal as most canines are, she values her pack above everything.

Personality

While her face looks bored, put off, or intense most of the time, and although she tends to carry herself in an elegant, cold manner, Junko is the exact opposite. If one was to get close enough to see past her seemingly intimidating exterior, they would see a generous, caring, and almost doting she-wolf. No one is her enemy unless they are, what she considers, 'bad.' Playful and family oriented, Junko values the rest of the Nakahara-ken, her pack, as her family. When she cares about someone, there isn't anything she wouldn't do for them. She often spends her time chasing around the other yakuza members, gambling with them, or just chatting together.

Unfortunately for Junko, due to her status as 'feared daughter of terrifying yakuza leader,' most people won't even approach her. She's somewhat of a romantic, dreaming of the day she finds someone who will see past her exterior and find what's on the inside.

Story Summary

Junko was born to the notoriously fearsome yakuza leader of the Nakahara-ken, Urufu. Her mother was out of the picture even before she was born, but Junko didn't mind- after all, the entirety of the Nakahara-ken doted on her, although none as much as her father.

The other gangsters, who she refers to as her pack, took it upon themselves to teach her every bit of information they knew, from the underlings who were in charge of brute work all the way up to her father's personal assistants, resulting in Junko knowing a little bit of everything. As she got older, gangsters would ask her for her help- whether it be money laundering, roughing someone up a little bit, or falsifying documents, Junko seeemed to be capable of doing it, all perfectly happily.

But, being gangsters, and wolves at that, Junko was taught how to stand, act, and in general be intimidating, a figure to respect and fear. This was her normal, and she was happy. As she got older and older, she realised that people would shy away from her, whether it be at the store, shopping, or walking down the street. Of course she told her father, who told her not to take it to heart- that she was his flower, and power and fear were good things. Unfortunately for Junko, she craved affection and attention, something that most found her too intimidating to give to her.

Years of life among the heart of the Nakahara-ken left Junko a bit of a strange seed. Her idea of 'bad guys' are people who've tried to hurt her pack, or people with rude attitudes. Strangely enough, she doesn't mind being treated badly by people who have pretended to care about her... another side effect of pack mentality.

Relationships

Hickory [ relationship ] Her best friend, Hickory the squirrel is basically a more talkative version of Nanako. It's no wonder they get along so well! They often spend their time reading together and playing childish games such as hide and seek and red light green light.

Kamiko [ relationship ] Nanako's obnixious younger sister with a severe princess complex. As Nanako was born an only child, with Kamiko coming later, Kamiko had no chance to inherit the crown. Therefore, Kamiko often follows Nanako around, demanding the princess's crown. Nanako dislikes Kamiko greatly and has no interest in hanging out with her, however Kamiko often tags along with Hickory, bringing Nanako great displeasure.

Basil [ relationship ] Nanako's tormentor. Unfortunately for the rabbit princess, Basil is also Hickory's boyfriend. The cat prince often chases poor Nanako around the castle, not exactly scaring her but igniting her natural flee instincts. This usually ends with Nanako crashing into Hickory and Basil receiving a scolding from his boyfriend. Nanako cares little for Basil, but knows that he makes Hickory happy.
