Noct is the commander of the Royal Army. He may seem unapproachable and cold, but those that are close to him says otherwise. He is intuitive and is able to identify other's motives easily. He always keep his guard up to never be taken advantaged of. He holds a lot of trust with his colleagues and those close to him. During work, he is very stern and straightforward. Outside of work, he can be seen joking around by speaking sarcasticly and is a family-oriented person. However when it comes to his niece Dorothy, he seems to have a switch when talking to her. He becomes more talkative and playful. Unfortunately his niece seems to hate his guts and he doesn't know why.

History

Noct was never a family-oriented person in the past. He was more of a workaholic. He very quickly climbed up the ranks not long after joining the Royal army. He has impressed many of his colleagues and surpassed many expectations placed on him. So much so that he was appointed as the next commander at the age of 30. One day, his older brother invited him for a family reunion dinner. They were never close to each other but for the sake of family and traditions, he attended the dinner. That was when he first met his young niece, Dorothy. He realized his endearment for her only grew from then on and treated her like his own daughter. After finding out the incident with his brother and sister-in-law, Noct hurriedly went to check on Dorothy. He had a feeling Dorothy had something to do with it, however he does not wish to know and did his best to clear Dorothy out of any suspicion. Being the only relative left, he gladly took guardianship over Dorothy. However, he has entrusted Dorothy fully in Elizabeth's care as he believe as her long time maid, she would know best for her. Work has not been kind to him and he rarely gets to see Dorothy, but when he does, he makes sure to cherish every second of it by spending time with her.
