Aubyn

Aubyn is a hotheaded charmander who likes being in charge. She always acts like she has something to prove, and doesn't handle change or failure well. She gets easily frustrated if things don't go her way, and is known for being quite over the top dramatic if she thinks she's been wronged in some way (Be it by life or by someone else). She plays it off like she likes being alone and prefers "The loner life" but she's actually very lonely and dreamed for a long time of having a true close friend before she had Eru. Once she met him- a confused and lost Pokemon seeking his place in the world, she was at first bossy and brash, but soon developed a close connection. 

While Eru mostly just tolerates her and her sometimes bratty behavior, she secretly is just glad for the company. She might complain and throw a fit here and there- but ultimately she's incredibly loyal and will always have his back through thick and thin. While he followed her at first- she's become his loyal sidekick (To her disdain- if you tell her that).

As an adult she's still pretty easily heated, but is much more controlled and gets along with other Pokemon much easier. She isn't as insecure about herself and her mutation, and it lets her make many friends (even if Eru remains her closest companion).

Aubyn is a strange charmander born with a mutation that left her covered in fur. Shunned by others of her kind- who saw her as strange or thought she was simply a different type of pokemon. This led to her becoming a loner and being resentful towards the Iron Pools where she grew up, and setting off for the center of the islands- where she met Eru. 

While at first bristling, she was- in reality, quite excited about the idea of potentially having a friend, and while their bond started accidentally- they soon became close... not that Aubyn would ever admit that, she still likes pretending she's the boss no matter how powerful Eru might become, and she still likes pretending she doesn't care about him nearly as much as she actually does.

Once she's an adult and evolves fully, she becomes captain of the Sky Island's wind guard, protecting the island from aerial attacks from various pokemon. And- since the island's main threat is skyborne, she becomes the one leading the charge to protect everyone. With Eru by her side, of course.
