First Dream:

“So what’s your name there ch͠erŕy̡?”

You were sitting on a stool at what looked like… a bar. A man, not too old, not too young, rather attractive actually, except for that tattoo on his neck, ugh. It wasn’t like you could talk though, he was eyeing your tattoo plain as day, even referred to it. At least you could tell he wasn’t looking at your face....

You gave him a smile, an inviting one, a flirty one, one that also meant you meant… business.
“M̛i͘sh̡a̧ ̢h͢oney͡” you answered him, sweet as pie and you fluttered your lashes at him a little.

You both s͠͏̸t͜art͜͠e̕d̢̛ ̢ta͢lk̨i̧͠ǹ͘g̢͢ in hushed tones as if you were doing something you weren’t supposed to do, the words however seemed… w͎̳̞̜͂̈́͋̚ͅa̓͋ͩrp̟̗̩̳̼̲̂ͬ͂ͮ͌͌e̋ͩdͪ̑̌. You couldn’t understand them.

Brief History: 

Cherry grew up as the middle child in his family of five, one younger sister and one older brother. His mother passed away when he was 12 due to a car accident. This was tough on the whole family, but especially Cherry, he idolized his mother, his siblings always called him a mama’s boy. His father was however a cop, as well as a stern man. Cherry found it difficult to get along with him. What was worse is what Cherry found out just before his mother died:

His father was cheating on her.

The attempts and small rough bond between them shattered. He was absolutely disgusted by his father and hated him, did everything to spite and upset him. Couldn’t stand him. As he got older, he got into the wrong sort of crowd at school, both to spite his father and carve his own path away from him. When he was older again, an adult, he got into a gang. He mainly dealt with the dealings of drugs and getting dirt on people. A common thing he did also was sleep with people for benefits... He was a shady negotiator of sorts.

One day, he got wind of the “Deep Sleep Project,” and luck struck him it seemed. He had been randomly selected…This was great! It was also especially convenient. A dealing with a rival gang hadn’t gone well, Cherry had cheated them out of a bit of a deal per orders from his boss of the deal and well… the other gang was out for his head… Fun times. So he decided that was his ticket out.

Only it was random…His father had paid for a spot for him, and upon the day he was to enter the pods… a note was there for him to read… from his father of course, his siblings put a little input as well.
Cherry went into the deep sleep crying his eyes out. Even though his family wasn’t the best… he missed them.

Now...

Cherry has like many, woke from his deep slumber among the chaos of an earthquake, being chased out by "the darkness" from the collapsing cave. During his decent, he decided to jump down part of the way: Bad idea. He bloodied a knee and sprained an ankle, whoops. Now he must adjust to life memory-less and within the human settlement that is the new evergreen.

Cherry awoke with no idea who he was, where he was, what was he even at first. Though as the seeming fog around his mind lifted, he stumbled his way out the cave and to the camp. What on earth was this world? He kept a cheerful facade as the inner workings of his mind churned away, trying to adjust to what in the world had happened. Not evening knowing your own name was… confronting. His dream at night just as much so. Well at least he had a 'name' now.

He was to be known as Cherry.

TidBits:

-For some reason keeps lying on where his cherry tattoo is. He mainly does this out of boredom. Its also not his only tattoo, he has a few others as well as piercings.
-Cherry is aware from his dream his actual name is Misha but goes by Cherry anyway.
