Here’s  Matthias, my Great Old One Warlock who’s trying to kill and replace his patron.

He’s a reborn eladrin and is pact of the tome He’s got his own personal paladin, refuses to talk, and makes it  everyone’s problem by communicating exclusively by beaming himself into  your head with that annoying, annoying telepathy feature. 

The real question is can he speak, given the carefully concealed scars ripping across his throat. It's not really much of a mystery how he died.
