Alfie is a street urchin who lives in the underpasses and alleys of some dirty city idk. He's mixed, and his family situation is bad so he doesn't live with his parents. (Or maybe an orphan?)
He's dirty and does things most people would consider gross--he's the kind of kid who'll pick up candy in a wrapper lying on the sidewalk and eat it without hesitating. He does what it takes to survive, but it's usually different from the usual survival tactics-- rather than the real down and dirty stuff (stealing from stores, prostitution, etc), he swipes fast food that's been walked away from or half-full soda bottles.
He doesn't feel the need to act like a tough guy and intimidate others and while he's a little rough, he lacks the meanness a lot of other people on the street have. He doesn't discriminate--he'll openly associate with people of all ages, races, creeds, genders, sexualities, etc, without treating anybody differently. He's not "colorblind" but everybody is the same to him; he's more interested in who people are individually than their various labels.
Because of this, he has a lot of friends and acquaintances, though few of them could really be called close friends (and many of them wouldn't get along with each other). He knows everybody on the streets, and knows somebody everywhere, and doesn't hesitate to ask for a couch for a few nights.
Despite living in survival mode, he has no qualms about helping others, especially when it comes to making use of his large network, and as long as it's within reason, he won't hesitate to help others out.
He's surprisingly bashful when it comes to sex--he's a virgin and will get very embarrassed if flirted with; he'll turn red and stammer, and he might even get defensive. He doesn't have any particular sexuality- he's not interested in anything specific, but he's not against anything specific either. More than anything, he is just very innocent.
