Extra
- They have many many powers, but I'll list off some quickly. Their main powers are dream / nightmare control, manipulating their body to do things - stretch, contort, and mainly shapeshift. They are known to use their tongue that looks like a grey rat tail in battle. It sounds weird, but they can elongate their tongue and attach lethal weapons onto it, mainly a scythe that will pop out. Tl;dr they have manipulation, illusion, shadow, and shapeshifting magic. A few others too ( like mind related things like mind control, reading someones minds, etc. )
- Although they are not the god that created the world, they are a very feared and powerful god up there with the higher ones. They seem to be the strongest among their siblings, and also rumored to be the oldest among them. Although, light magic is the only thing that can take out Nightmare, and their white furred sister knows light magic, so only they and others who use light magic can keep Nightmare in check.
- Constantly bored so they do things to kill time and make them entertained, even if they are very bad and morally wrong sometimes.
- As a child, they were much more different. Caring and kind, and the one who made decisions and was generally in charge. They are still in charge, but they are mostly apathetic and uncaring now. Their siblings constantly wonder what happened.
- They are the mayor and creator of a town called Mesmerium, which they made with their powers alone. It is a supposedly safe haven for everyone and anything to live. It's a huge city with skyscrapers, landscapes, etc. Essentially a mini country in size, and has a lot of different areas.
- Nightmares true form is up to them and is only known by them. It is unknown what they were born as, but most assume it is a wolf since thats the form they take most often - but then theres the argument that they'd get bored of that form easily. It's a long debate. They give unhelpful answers to questions about themselves when asked.
- OK I swear this is the last thing, but the eye on their staff and bowtie move and emote sometimes. People are unsure if the eyes are real or fake, and too scared to find out.

A mortal, or so they thought when they were younger, who became an all powerful god through a deal their old ancestors made that allowed them such power. Nightmare is an odd being. They don't seem to have much info on them, so only them themselves and their siblings would know about more details on him, but all of them don't know how they gained such powers.
There is only a vague description of their sudden immortality and power, and it seems that one day a group sent people to come assassinate their entire family who knew of their families relations to gods - which nobody except their parents knew until then. After discovering this, they ( and their siblings ) got rid of the intruders with newfound powers, which, according to them, felt like they weren't controlling themselves at the time.
Outliving their parents and many old friends, this has made Nightmare apathetic to most things, including those they are close to. They hide this under many different personas and layers. Rumor has it that something was sealed inside of them...
