Within the mountains of Chione, beds of dark purple flowers grow hearty within the snow. The flowers, known as Ianthe, are picked so their petals can be drowned in salted water until the colour bleeds, and white fabric is added; the result is a rich dye, the colour of which is impossible to recreate elsewhere. The cultivation and growth of the flower used for the dye is a deeply important part of the process, which is where florists such as Parinyan come in.

Though she is young (and somewhat strange...), Parinyan as already distinguished herself amongst Chione's flower growers. It is as if the blossoms bend to her very will, and grow as pure and lovely as possible for her aid.

Parinyan is truthfully a bit odd... she is bad with social cues, and often struggles to keep up during conversations. She has a tendency to be clumsy as well, often tripping over her own two feet. And yet(!) she always tries her hardest! Her determination is bold and unyielding, and it has clearly paid off.

Though she isn't the best at conversation, many find themselves charmed by the girl's eccentric and dreamy personality. She's garnered quite a few fans as well as secret admirers trying to woo her. And in all honesty... she loves the attention very, very much.

Dislikes Boring people, sudden noises, being startled, books with sad endings.

Chione's very own princess is a good friend of Parinyan's. Though the two are very different from one another in terms of personality, they are close.

The traveling merchant of Northern Lapta seems to make a point of always stopping by to visit Parinyan whenever he's in town, though no one knows why.

Kian

As Kian works in fabric dyes, he and Parinyan often end up working closely together. He finds her to be very charming... though he wishes she'd slow down sometimes, too.

Tezeu

Tezeu is a few years older than Parinyan, and thus would often end up babysitting her alongside his cousin Allune as a child. She doesn't seem to think highly of him, though.
