First Dream:
You were sitting inside waiting eagerly, your legs swinging gleefully under the table. The creak of the door immediately caught your attention and your head whipped in the direction. Your face burst into joy as you cheered “dad!” in both excitement and greeting.
“Happy 10th birthday!” he chirped and from behind his back he revealed a necklace. A necklace full of sharp teeth and a bright blue feather designated in the middle.
“Ahhh you put one of his feather’s on it! It’s blue like the sea~” you said even more excited as your dad smiled down at you.
“Yes~” He agreed as he put the necklace around your neck, it was a bit loose but you’d grow into it surely.
“and how do we say sea in Hawaiian?” he asked you and you eagerly responded:
“Kekai!”

Brief History:
Kekai was born and raised in Tokelau to a Tokelauian mother and half-hawaiian father, his father had been a fisherman who had taken a trip to Tokelau to visit relatives when he married Kekai’s mother, deciding to stay once more. Kekai got on with his parents when young, his father the most. His father taught him parts of the hawaiian language and often took him to fish. Kekai overtime developed a love for the outdoors and working with his hands, one of his uncles being a wood carver and also taught Kekai how to carve. However as the little boy got older despite his interest in Hawaiian because of his father, he was failing in his schooling apart from sporting activities. His worst subject by far was English and it held him back. Kekai wasn't necessarily stupid at all, but he refused to learn. He didn't like English or studying, he much rather be outdoors catching fish and playing. This started to cause a bit of strife at home… However none of that really mattered anymore! The end of the world was nigh and a rich family had decided to come and visit the ever fading Tokelau before it along with the rest of the world was lost forever and the family were comfortably in the deep sleep program safe and sound. What they didn't count on was their toddler wandering off when they weren't looking… Luckily Kekai had been skipping school that day and saw the child enter and start to drown in the water. He rushed to the little one’s aid and saved him before he could come to harm. The family were so so grateful, he decided to offer Kekai and the other children of Tokelau a place within the deep sleep program. Not wanting their son to perish his family agreed and when the rich family left, he went with them…

Now...

Upon waking up, he surrounded by folks who speak a different language to him and he doesn't understand a word, he feeling extremely frustrated at this, he can't communicate what so ever. Though he has decided to trust a lady with spots on her cheeks... She's... nice.

-He is very skilled at crafts, particularly wood carving.
-Knows Hawaiian
-Loves animals
-His father had been bitten more than once by sharks, somehow surviving and got teeth for his troubles, he put the teeth on Kekai’s necklace as a gift. The blue feather was a feather from their pet bird.
