Mary Anne

Personality:

Mary is a very sweet person. It’s often hard to think of her as a leader because of this; as she generally doesn’t act like it when trying to cater to someone. Yet around more than one or two people, that’s where her more leadership traits come out. She speaks firmly with confidence, empathy, and a spirit in her voice that raises those around her- albeit covered a bit by the soft tone of her voice. She knows exactly what to do, and when to do it for the best benefit of those who follow her. She does get a little stressed as she wasn’t made to be her fellow servigram‘s leader, and sometimes deals with bouts of confusion because it.

She is the leader of the other servigram’s because she was the first. The prototype of the prototype’s. Of course that comes with it’s own issue’s; being that unlike the others, she didn’t and doesn’t have much control of some aspects of her mannerisms and way of speaking. Which impacts on how her personality forms and is perceived. Her accent sounding almost akin to the transatlantic accent, and unable to sound unfriendly even when heavily upset. She’s almost always in a polite stance. Her movements almost always soft in nature. She can sometimes be embarrassed of this when it is pointed out.

If she was physically able to be as sarcastic as she wants, she absolutely would be. Instead she’s stuck looking strained with a smile whenever she feels the need to be.

She was always courageous. The first to throw herself at danger so her friends and family don’t have to. Even if that danger is a simple kitchen fire, or as dangerous as a house set aflame. Very protective of her friends and family.

At times she worries herself to the point of tears over small little details like if she might accidentally bump into someone or if the color of a spoon seems off. Yay anxiety. 

To expand on her sweetness; she adores taking care of her friends and family. It’s her love language. Easily empathetic to anyone whom seems down. Immediately jumping to action to make them feel better. Easily adopting anyone into her group. Out of all her fellow servigrams- she is the most emotional and outwardly loving. It would kill her inside if she ever made anyone even feel uncomfortable unnecessarily.
Sometimes this extends into a insecurity about how some of her forced mannerisms not only making her uncomfortable, but also others watching her struggle with it. This makes it harder for her to express herself even further, as she’d rather try to hide it; to try and make others more comfortable. Let’s just say this makes her anxiety over small things even worse when she spirals. Though don’t underestimate her because of this. 

Fun Facts:

She was going to be gifted to one of her creator’s grandmother if proved to be functional and stable. Instead she came out as a full person and she was left to do whatever she wants in secret. So she could live her life, without possibly being decommissioned for being a whole person if found. It wasn’t known if that was what was going to happen- but her creators didn’t want to take any chances. Same thing with the others. 

The actual plans for her model were to take over nursing homes, and home nurses for the elderly. Especially those who had lost their families to “Nature’s Curse”. This was discarded because of her being a person.

Children stress her out. She doesn’t hate them- she has a good opinion of children. She likes them in fact- it’s just that if you placed a crying kid in front of her it’d make her freeze in place. She doesn’t know how to deal with them- she tries with her creator’s children. She really tries her absolute best to handle whenever they drag her into a game. 

She occasionally gets stuck in narrow doorways because of her wings. 

She actually liked the VICO’s- until everything went wrong.

In the future, way after her death, she isn’t remembered as a historical figure in most of the world. Instead she is remembered as a pink crane from a warped version of history turned mythology. The pink crane image of her is used as one of the symbols of The Colonies.

She is thankfully able to shout at and attack those she deems a threat. However she still isn’t allowed to be verbally rude. She gets around this with back handed compliments her system doesn’t register as back handed.

She can and will use her wings to make herself more threatening if need be. Actually she uses her wings for a lot of things besides flight.

She is unable to do any type of loud crying. Instead she’s forced to do quiet sobs, hand over mouth, no matter how much pain she is in.

Tend to play her in the phase where she went from her past to being in a rebellion. Back when her only goal was to find out what was happening.

Her past and rebellion self aren’t all that different. 

She relies on her lover, Kase, a lot. Mainly for communicating when she cannot. As well as emotionally, when the little things that bother her so build up too much.

She can dive much like a falcon. Not in her crane form though, it isn’t built for that. 

She Loves flamingos. Absolutely adores them.

Misjudging her personality as an opponent is extremely dangerous. A certain Control can attest to that.

She made her weapons herself. She uses them in a very.. unique way.

Jane Rose and her run a fashion blog/business. They are verrrry close :)

She and Kase do have a poly relationship. 

Can be pretty oblivious at times.

She is great at tap dancing.

She has custom pj’s. Her regular clothes are very uncomfortable to enter sleep mode in.

Back when she was made, AI having souls wasn’t heard of. Likely only myths of a ghost possessing an AI. She’s the first. 

Her creators had made ‘flavor swatches’ for her. She really liked tasting food despite not being able to eat anything. 

Out of all my characters on the good side, she probably has the most potential to turn into an outright heinous villain. 

She doesn’t like a lot of things about her voice. Often feeling like it doesn’t suit her, but isn’t sure what would. 

Later in life two strands of her hair goes gray from stress.

She had more than just her lances on her when in battle. Will do a ref of the whole set one day. Beyond her lances; she had light blades attached to the ends of her longest and strongest feathers, A mask built to accommodate her regular and crane form faces, and caps on her feet that were able to shoot out and grab as she could in crane form.  The toe caps also worked as protection for her talons in crane form thanks to the ability for them to stretch into long toes.
