Gull

• He's a very small and lean cat, but muscular. He's stronger than he looks- but is better at sneak attacks than throwing his weight around. 

Gull is an uptight and strict cat that likes routine and predictability. He's bookish (for what that entails as a cat) and enjoys learning new things. He doesn't really enjoy fighting or disagreements with other cats and he's more than content to let the larger and more strong cats protect him as needed. When he does hunt he's strategic and smart, priding his intelligence over his physical prowess. Who needs to sneak when you can just outwit your prey?

While he is reluctant about life as part of the clan when his group joins, he quickly comes to see it as a competant way to keep himself safe and continue to learn and study. He does see it as a bit barbaric...but he does have some level of care for his clanmates and will gladly put his knowledge to helping them if given a good chance or project to work on. 

Because he is focused on expanding his knowledge first and foremost, he can often come across as cold and self-isolating. Not really enjoying much social interaction or teamwork more than necessary. He sometimes makes suggestions that seem immoral or unusual to the other cats. It's not uncommon that he makes some cats uneasy by his demeanor. He can often put "The great good" above the comfort or needs of other cats. While he isn't actively malicious, he needs someone to rope him in from time to time before he ends up chasing ideas that could cause harm to himself or others.

Gull was born on a massive cargo ship alongside the small colony of cat mousers that keep the ship's hold free of vermin. He never knew another life than this, and as such- was very close to his 'crew' and the cats aboard. he was often picked on as a kit due to being very small and not really enjoying fighting and wrestling like many of the other kits and his siblings- leading to him often being the one that was pushed around, leading him to being rather anxious around other cats until he knows he can trust them.

He eventually ends up joinig captain's band after seeing that Captain would look out for him, and following him when Captain decides to leave the ship in pursuit of a new life on land. He is reluctant about joining Reefclan when Captain decides upon it at first, but does come around when he realizes it allows room for him to plan and learn things while not being alone to fend for himself.

He can typically be found hiding around his clanmates and while he keeps them at a distance he appreciates their company regardless.
