In the realm of demons, Artya Darkshadow and Anya Darkshadow were a notorious pair, ever willing to take on any job that paid, be it farming or mercenary work. But most often, they were hired by slavers to raid villages and capture as many people as possible to be sold into slavery.

Though they were free souls, they were bound to each other, Artya unable to leave Anya's side, and vice versa. They protected each other fiercely, and shared a fondness for getting drunk and spending time in taverns. They cared little for the opinions of others, some considering them criminals, while others deemed them good-hearted.

With their reddish-dark skin, heterochromic eyes, short blonde hair, tall, and athletic builds, they easily caught the attention of other beings in the demon world. They had already lived for more than 50 years, with many more adventures still ahead of them.
