Ushio is an OC created and inspired for the Underworld in the universe of Fullmoon Wo Sagashite © Arina Tanemura. He is a Shinigami in the Paediatrics Ward and works alongside his partner and lover Umeko (©xxFullmoonxx @Paigeeworld).
Workers in the Paediatrics ward usually represent an animal and can transform into an anthropomorphic plushie version of them, which is generally used when dealing with young children. His human hame is Hisou (Anagram of Ushio).

Setting: In 'Searching for the Fullmoon' universe, there's an underworld of death gods/shinigami's of people who collect souls of those about/fated to die, and the ones who work in the paediatric section; which is tasked to collect souls of children usually represent an animal and have a anthromoporhic plushie form in case they communicate with the children they're going to collect the souls of (totally opposite the deathnote type shinigami aha;; no ryuk here lol) Although I say he's a shinigami, it's noted that in the end of the series they are referred to as angels post-manga. These harbingers of death became the way they are because they were once human but committed suicide. In this story, all who had done so lose their memories of their human lives (though not permanently forgotten as they can recover them) so as to avoid chances of them meeting people they had relations with in the past and to avoid pain and suffering from remembering their lives. Ushio is a shinigami working in the paediatrics ward of the underworld (If you've read/watched the series, he is in the same field of work as Negi Ramen and Yaminabe). Because of the memory loss, their personalities tend/can be be very different than that of their human lives.
Bio: Ushio is an angel/shinigami who, like most shinigamis, has a partner which is Umeko. Since he works in the paediatric ward, he takes on an animal form of a cow, and can transform into a his plushie form when at his job. Since the boss of the underworld has a knack for giving stupid team names for partners, this duo is referred to as "Red Bean Taiyaki"

Extra:
• In story, his outfit was designed and made by Meroko Yui, who tends to sew up odd designs that stand out amongst the rest of the underworld.
• He likes to help himself to other peoples fridges, despite knowing Umeko will beat the shit out of him if she finds out.
• He loves attention, and when children don't listen to him on a task, he'd puff up his chest in indignation, making the bells chime. These bells also have sedation/pheromone powers.
• He teases Umeko a lot, despite knowing what he's in for (talk shit get hit lmao)
• Humans are able to see shinigami if in their plushie form, therefore children are likely to play with them. Ushio is usually ridiculed and called an ugly toy by some, which makes him upset but he doesn't show it, though will come crying to Umeko later about it, who may or may not care.
